My little brother and I were riding the bus on friday morning, and we picked up to little students who dont normally get on our route........The two little boys mother comes up to the bus driver and tells the driver that she needs to see 3 little boys(elementary) from the bus, so she calls there name, and the bus driver tells them to come get off of the bus.....I see three boys which included my little brother get off of the bus......When I go to the step of the bus the parent is using profanity to the little boys, so I tell my little brother to get back on the bus. When my little brother gets back on the bus, the parent turns to me and starts talking her crap to me too.So I had to do the same. The bus leaves, we get to school and I go to the transportation office to complain to the director on how his driver wasnt doing her job, then after school I see that she is driving a different bus.Should she have gotten fired?? I now find out that the bus driver was saying crap about me.......

I would like to file for a patent and while I have a "patent pending" start marketing and selling the item. I know it can take a few years to get a patent. But how long to just get the "patent pending" so noone can steal my idea? (and what happens if they find later that someone else already had a patent, I read that I would have to cease selling the item, but what about money that may have already been made selling it, would I owe the inventor even though I would have been completely unaware that they existed?)

I'm still in high school and trying to understand all this. step dad is trying to keep my mom from getting money from our old house which she bought and made morgage payments on that we moved out of. He refuses to move or sell it yet is still there after a year and a half while also trying to get spousal support (hes a lazy sleazebag out of work). The lawyers are stalling after realizing there is not much money involved and constantly cancelling deposition dates, and billing rediculous things. How can we get them to move things along? Can we force them to do anything? Please help I want to go to an Ivy for college and see family in Europe which is very expensive.

She moved out of the state 7 months ago but I just found out she's in a new relationship and isn't coming back. I've been barely able to pay the mortgage and utilities since but she hasn't provided a quitclaim deed or anything. I would like to refinance to remove her from the mortgage but I don't know my rights. Is she still legally liable for half of the mortgage since she left? I live in Arizona and can't find any information on this scenario anywhere. Please help!

Can someone please provide a court ruling that clearly states and answers this? I'm looking for the actual court reporter number so I can go to my local law library and get a copy of it. I'm sure this went all the way to the US Supreme Court at one time. Point of clarification: The matter is mother vs. father...the minor child is learning disabled and eligable for a 504 plan. Mom wants to keep in a religious school, father wants to put him back into public school where 504 plan can be implemented and enforced.

ALSO DO NOT MAKE DEFINITIVE STATEMENTS WITHOUT PROVIDING COURT CASE INFO (CASE # ETC.). THAT IS NOT FOLLOWING THE YAHOO ANSWERS GUIDLENES.

I was involved in a accident with a NJ transit bus. He cut in front fo me and I hit the side of the bus. He got a ticket and this is his 3rd accident. I had back surgery for a burst disc.
My doctor 's report says I have a permanent injury and he signed a cert. of perm. I was out of work for 6 months and still have pain everyday. Every morning when I wake up I know I had surgery. I have a six inch scar on my stomache and two 3 inch scars on my back. How do they put a value on a permanent injury. I have 2 small boys and I am 41 years old.

I worked at a place that hired a new store manager just before my seasonal employment ended (I was an Interim Asst. Mngr for the summer). Anyway, this person that they hired never worked with me and had issues with control. From a legal standpoint, there's no reason that anything negative can be said about me and the store owner has glowing things to say about me....

Anyway, when this new store manager was called for employment varification, she said some pretty awful and innacurate things about me as an employee and I was subsequently removed from the application process of a place I was hoping to be hired full time.

What can I do to stop this?

Not only is she wrong but she also has NO right to say anything about me as an employee.....UGH!

I got a "following too closely" citation highway in Atlanta, GA. It involves three cars. Mine was the third. When police came, the other two drivers said there was a traffic, and that i hit the back bumper of the car in the middle, the middle car hit the back bumper of the one in the front. The Police told me that the front car owner told him that there was a traffic and that he experienced one impact . So Police said if that is the case , I must have started the hitting from the back .I told Police that the front guy stopped all of a sudden, the middle car hit the front car , and that there was a impact which led to the front car moving forward and the middle car comoing back , and that i was the third car coming frome behing. I applied my brake , the middle car while coming back hit my front bumper. My front bumper has the greatest damage , my bumper was bent . the middle car has his back bumper paints removed, no damage. the front car back bumper was less vissibly bent. How can

I think it would because then we could punish murderers, rapists and the like properly.
Instead we are forced to see lenient punishments and endless appeals for scum who we would be better off without..

My neighbor is the most annoying person alive and others living in the same building as well as myself have complained annonymously to the housing managers and finally got them to send her an eviction notice. However, the girl went around our building door to door, asking everyone to sign a petition stating that she was not a nuisance and had no cause for eviction. I know for a fact that some people, including myself, have signed from fear that if they didn't she'd suspect them to have reported her for eviction and damage the car or do something to them. Is this a legitimate way of obtaining a petition to avoid getting evicted???

I have a boss who dislikes me. She sends nasty emails to me. Harrassed me at home via email while out sick saying that I sure played my sickness of well at the office even though I had a doctors note. In one meeting she finally had with me she told me that I better not contact HR anymore (HR Mgr breached my trust when I contacted her for advice) and my mgr also mentioned that she knows about my answers to the supposed private, mandatory surveys we are required to fill out. Also lied and stated that 75% of our group has a problem with me which is not true. Boss is in tight with HR Mgr so I'm going to the Global HR Mgr but also getting ill dealing with the daily harrassment and need to come up with a quick resolution. Suggested meeting with her several times and she did respond but when she finally met with me which did not go well at all. I didn't argue but took note. When I mentioned I felt harrassed she demanded that I never use that word again in her dept. Any advice?
