Are they trying to bribe God to ignore their crimes with money, by putting his name on it?

That is a good question. I can take or leave the inscription.
I don't buy into the Christian-Angelfood/Cake/heaven fables anyway. I am sure they may be comforting at times.

American money doesn't have that. The only American nation's money that has that is the United States, hardly a representative of America being only one out of 37 American nations.

I just use money for the usual things like a roof over my head, food, clothing, etc. Do I need to feel guilty about that or are you talking about how the government spends the money? We have little say in that.

Ironic isn't it? All one has to do is change the wording to the leading question and one can turn almost anything into a real stumper.

Why is it a jihadist praises allah as he blows up a crowd full of women and children along with himself? Are they trying to bribe him to ignore their crimes with faith, by putting his name on it?

On the other hand, I think those that decided on the phrase fully expected those that used the currency to be decent stand-up citizens. Jeez, what were they smoking?

No. They put IN GOD WE TRUST b/c that was the main principle that this country was founded on.

well its not really american money since the mint only prints about 5% of it and the rest comes from jewish private banks like federal reserve
