My little brother and I were riding the bus on friday morning, and we picked up to little students who dont normally get on our route........The two little boys mother comes up to the bus driver and tells the driver that she needs to see 3 little boys(elementary) from the bus, so she calls there name, and the bus driver tells them to come get off of the bus.....I see three boys which included my little brother get off of the bus......When I go to the step of the bus the parent is using profanity to the little boys, so I tell my little brother to get back on the bus. When my little brother gets back on the bus, the parent turns to me and starts talking her crap to me too.So I had to do the same. The bus leaves, we get to school and I go to the transportation office to complain to the director on how his driver wasnt doing her job, then after school I see that she is driving a different bus.Should she have gotten fired?? I now find out that the bus driver was saying crap about me.......

+ Whe I talk to the director, he told me that the bus driver wasnt suppose to let the kids off in the first place. I told my mother yesterday and she filed a police report....my little cousin came over and told me that the parent who was complaing came over to her house asking for me.

No. She should not have let that mother come on the bus or call any children out so she can b*tch at them. The bus driver probably felt pressured even though she should be in control. The mother calling kids out of the bus is most at fault. There is no law for this unless she physically took then off of bus or assaulted or threatened them.

While I would like to say that there is a law, there really isn't any set law. You followed the right course of action, to turn it into someone higher up.

However, I am guessing that the bus driver was not certain on how to handle the situation. This is where the problem comes into play. I wish I could say that yes the driver deserved to get fired, but that is not the case. To have a situation such as that is a little overwhelming for someone who probably is not getting paid all that much to be there. I have to admit that I back the transportation office's choice to retain the driver and place her on a different route.

Remember that the driver is in a high stress position, and needs to have some slack given to her as well.

The parent had no right confronting any of the kids and certainly has no right talking to other peoples children like that, and yes the bus driver never should of let the kids off the bus, she should of told her she needs to go to the school and talk to the principle before talking to any child.

You need to tell your parents about this. She should have been disciplined, and although I would fire her, it just depends on the policy of the school district and the company that manages their busses. Your parents need to file a police report about the incident. Ask your little brother who the woman was that was yelling at him. She should know better as well. Her behavior is unacceptable and predatory. She should have contacted your parents if she had a problem with your little brother. You really need to tell your parents about this.

There probably is no law for that though there may be some rule that could apply, with the school district. It probably wasn't enough to cause her to get fired, anyway. But you did the right thing looking out for your little brother.
