Your attorney needs to be handling this; why isn't he? That's what you're paying him for, after all.

Direct TV is like any other entity. They don't hear you unless you have a lawyer. So, have your lawyer contact them as you would in any other case. Then, let the lawyers figure it out. Your lawyer is your voice.
I stopped Direct TV a year ago. Direct TV didn't exist in the desert where I moved. So, I followed their instructions and returned my equipment to them. My bill was paid in full. However, for the past year I have gotten a bill from them even though I don't have any service. I have made at least eight telephone calls to them where they apologized, and removed the bill. Then, they billed me again anyway each and every month. The only way to get them to listen is to get your attorney to speak to them. Otherwise Direct TV doesn't hear you. They practice what other large corporations practice. They ignore you unless you have an attorney speaking for you. Even if they are a bad company people still buy their product, because out of the other two satellite companies they are the best of the worst.. Dish is a total nightmare. Cable is a lot more expensive. Good luck.

Yes, they do! Here is the address:
Direct TV Corporate Office
c/o Legal Department
2230 East Imperial Highway
El Segundo, CA 90245
I would suggest sending any correspondence as a certified letter. You can only prove they have it if it was signed for. Certified doesn't cost much and is worth every penny. Good Luck!!

Good for you. Some times you have to file. Anything you gave to your attorney Direct TV bill should be in there too. Get Cox cable I hate Direct TV I will never ever have that crap again. Tell your attorney. by Law they can't even call your house or you can sue. Did you also know in 8 years if your way down on your luck you can file again! every 8 years yep yep!

In a bankruptcy, you make agreements to file against some bills and agree to pay off others. If you have not paid your Direct TV bill, they will cut off your service. No court can order them to give free service. If your attorney is telling you this, then there is something you "forgot" to mention in your question. Like a reason this would be true.

go to their website. If they provide service to the public, they have a legal department. Here is the link for the customer advocate team. It may be your best bet.
