I don't know. But I would recommend against it. The asking of this question seems to indicate that someone (you, or a friend) is 'losing sight of the goal'. Backup lights are to warn people that you are backing up. WHITE is the color that tells us this. RED is not the color that tells us this. To make them red - probably for 'fashion' reasons - is not a good move... or a smart one. :p Later, dudes.

Not likely. Most are required to be white. Then again, I have never seen a law that states you must have them at all.
