I have mad a subject access request of a large company as the reulting material would help me defend myself against a complaint made against me from another company.
I have asked the data controller twice for information but he has not replied. I have complained to informtion commissioner who has said that the have not complied. My question given that the data is needed to defend myself a lot of hurt has been caused by not recieving the info. Can I take out a private prosecutuion for damages against the company's data controller? Will keep you all posted of out come. Thanks

YOU CANNOT MAKE A REQUEST ON DATA STORED AT A PERSONNEL LEVEL UNLESS YOU HAVE A NEED TO KNOW REQUIREMENT?

DATA AND COMPUTER MATERIAL ARE CLASSIFIED AS INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY--THEY OWN THE RIGHTS NOT YOU

YOU WILL HAVE TO FILE A MOTION SEEKING THE FILES FOR YOUR CASE AS A DISCOVERY PROCEDURE TO TRIAL OR HEARING OF AN ADMINISTRATIVE NATURE-YOU CAN FILE PRO SE ON OWN BEHALF BUT WOULD RECOMMEND A CASE OF THIS NATURE BE HANDLED BY AN ATTORNEY

IF BOTH ARE UNSURE OF RIGHTS OF EITHER PARTIES, CONSULT "LAW AND THE INFORMATION SUPERHIGHWAY BY PERRITT AND WILEY LAW--GOOD LUCK
