Currently on unsupervised probation judge said he would let me off if all my fines were paid in full, I applyed for a credit card in someones name and was charged with a felony was still on probation. The person who name I used didn't want to take of work to press charges so the investigator pressed the charges. He said that since she didn't want to take off that day to press charges he was kinda over it and he was going to help me out are at least try to see what he can do. He talked to the judge and the judge said for me to pay my fines from my previous charge and he would see about still aloowing me to go into the military. SO MY QUESTION CAN WE ALL GET TOGETHER AND SETUP A PLEA FOR ME TO STILL BE ABLE TO GO TO THE MILITARY ARE WILL I NEED A LAWYER IF I NEED A LAWYER I WILL GET MY OWN NOT ONE APPOINTED

I received an email that said that Bill Clinton had been AWOL and pardoned by Pesident Carter on the 2nd day of his presidency. Snopes.com said that it was false. Who do I believe? It would not surprise me to find out that the story is TRUE.

The story is my husband and I were gone camping when we got a call from my 18 year old that our van was on fire. We left everything at the camp site and headed home only to find the van in our drive burn to the ground, windows broken the paint bubbled and the shutters melted on our home. The detective just called saying they have 4 suspects 3 adult boy and one juvenile. One of the parents said that they would like to pay us for all the damages that we already turned into our insurance company for us to not file charges.
What does everyone think we should do. Nothing like this has ever happen to us before and we are at a total loss.
Thanks for helping

at the yearly speech from our principal at my school she stated that you cannot have a camera phone. later during questions about the speech i pointed out to her that most new cellphones have cameras and her answer was then you cant have a cell phone. Then she stated that it is a LAW in Wisconsin that YOU MAY NOT HAVE A CAMERA PHONE AT SCHOOL. Is this a Law or just a bunch of crap??? I need real and serious answers because i have a Motorola RAZR V3 and that is the only phone i have and i am not going to buy a new phone just for school. Also if you could provide a link to an OFFICIAL UNITED STATES OR WISCONSIN GOVERNMENT PAGE that you got this information from that would be great.

& healthj care wouldn't we eventually drastically reduce the crime rate in this country ( U S A )?I propose that we elimanate white collar & bule collar prison just have prison & thats all.then the better educated people become the less likely they would commit a crime & get thrown into prison we have a systtem based on constitution but if have commit a crime & are convicted you loose all those priviliges. As long as we keep going like we are we will end up with more criminals, richer lawyers, and poorer taxpayers and illiterate society.so dont complain when this country ends up being ran by people such Mark Foley,Larry Craig,Mike Nifon and the list is endless. Its a big game and the taxpayer foots the entire bill.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City police are investigating a 20-year-old woman who allegedly tried to flush her newborn son down the toilet at a McDonald's restaurant after giving birth in the restroom.

Both the baby and the mother, a Kansas City resident who works at the McDonald's, were being treated Tuesday at a Kansas City hospital. Police said the child is expected to survive.

"Fortunately, the baby's fine," Capt. Rich Lockhart said. "The baby's at the hospital getting treatment. The mother's at the hospital getting treatment. We're investigating it."

My husband was "laid off" due to his major accounts moving to another company because the company he was with crossed territory with a competing company that p'd some people off.
My husband's boss told him they had to "let him go" because they couldn't "afford" to keep him since his major account had gone elsewhere for business. Not my husband's problem.
People start calling him from the office saying they heard he was fired. And come to find out, they hired another salesman to take his place. My husband wants to get an attorney.
Can he do anything? He wasn't "fired." His boss had no complaints about his performance. And he is getting paid for 3 more weeks. What the heck happened.

ONTARIO, Calif. — An 8-month-old boy has died after his mother told police she accidentally cleaned his nose with a cotton swab used earlier to clean a methamphetamine pipe.

Samuel Reta of Ontario was declared dead Friday at Loma Linda University Medical Center, according to the San Bernardino County Coroner's office.

Reta had been in a coma since police responding to a child-not-breathing emergency call early Thursday found him in full cardiac arrest. The baby also has a fractured skull, broken arm and pneumonia, police said.

There is a class being offered that I'd like to take. It only costs $90 for the class and $40 for the test. But, my cousin says there is a $400 licensing fee as well. Is that true? It makes no mention of it in the class information.

How long should it take an atty to come up with some answers from the state? Texas Thank you..

Racist remarks do not belong in a civilised public place.
If I were to remark on someone being a " black so & so " I would expect to be penailised & deservedly so.

A black person calling someone a " white so & so " has not committed a crime in the U.K. ( FACT ) 1st hand experience involving police officers - is this affimative action justified for years of racial intolerance that " ethnic's " have had to suffer at the hands of WHITES...?

My best friend was driving without insurance, got into a wreck that he caused. And now is being sued by the other person’s insurance company. Can the other person sue him as well as their insurance company? I told him he should hire a lawyer, but he insists against it. Because he isn’t disputing whether or not he was at fault. Go figure.

I paid an attorney to represent me in a case. She was paid $1500 simply to move my child support case from Illinois to missouri. She filed the paperwork and that was it. this is rediculous that it costs $1500 to file some paperwork. How can I get my money back? He was never served with papers, we never went to court, nothing.

I see these Maury-esque cases where some guy is told "you're the father" and he steps up to what he thinks are his responsibilities. Sometimes it's a husband who doesn't know his wife is stepping out on him, sometimes it's a boyfriend who thought things were "exclusive," sometimes it's just some gullible geek who only got lucky because the girl already knew she was "with child" and wanted to pin it on him.

How about a straight-up requirement: Dad's name doesn't go on the birth certificate unless a DNA test is done.

We could even throw in an exception: If the man, after being advised BY A LAWYER, knowingly signs a waiver saying that he is the legal father and waives the right to verify the child's parentage via DNA.

No surprises, no GOTCHA, just see what the DNA says.
