Im gettin married next yr & I'm lookin for a photographer. Saturday I met w/ one who I really liked, signed the contract, went home thought about it over night and changed my mind. There was no exchange of money and the contract doesn't say anything about canceling. It just states that the $ is non-refundable, but again there was no exchange of $.

Anyway, 2 days later, Monday I called the guy & after a while of convincing me to stay he said it was "ok" to cancel the contract.

So I sent him an email to confirm our telephone phone conversation. because hes pretty far and I haven't had the time to go (nor the guts to face him)

Now I hear an email isn't good enough in court? Is this true? I mean ... the email has his name and his company name on it and it says " Yes Wendy I received your email and I'm good with canceling the contract"... Friends tell me to drop it, before I give him ideas, but Im afraid hell sue. He seems harmless. But u never know...What do I do?

If you are an adult at 18, required to pay taxes, can vote, smoke cigarettes, join the military and die for this country, along with all the other privileges, rights and duties associated with becoming an adult, why can't you go out after a work day and have a beer or two legally, without risk of jail or fines?? Unite 18-20 year olds, change this law. I'll vote for it.

I MUST ADD I do not smoke pot never have never will. I DO TAKE THE MARINOL FOR "OFF LABEL" USE-WHICH IS FDA APPROVED FOR WEIGHT LOSS NONRESPONSIVE TO MANY MANY OTHER MEDS(with my diagnosis).. Even tho I do have many medical ailments, I do not miss much work I have always worked full time nights-12 hour shifts-with six kids. and a single mom to boot!! I know the "false positive" on the THC urine drug test is "NULL & VOID"-but, the offer was withdrawn based on that medication-period!!! And, no I have not jumped into sueing them--this actually happened last November and I am getting ideas of whatto do, how to do it and make sure NO ONE else goes thru what I went thru. I worked at the same hospital for 25 years and took this other JOB at a different hospital--and BAMMMM!!! I got shut out-and now my old hospital has no openings. I like the comment that my thought process was--uh disorganized?? thanks for that!! Made MY day!! I am perhaps the MOST organized person in the world !!

I was looking through the Bible, but I'm having a hard time locating the verses where he says you should try to belittle and exclude your fellow man every chance you get.

I found the "turn the other cheek" passage, the "do not judge lest ye be judged", but I'm having a hard time finding the "screw everyone who's not just like me" passage.

Is it in the same chapter where it's explained how to treat your slaves?

Or would it be over by the passage that says you should stone a woman to death for adultery?

I could use the help of a very knowledgable Hypo-Christian.

Praise Jesus!

If I were to take Adderall in dental school to stay ahead of the competition, but couldn't get my own prescription and decided to buy or borrow instead; would that really be enforced if someone found out I was using them? Is it fairly safe to say there would be no harm done if ever I was caught with a drug that wasn't prescribed for me? I mean tons of college kids do this, but I know professional school has different standards when you are working with patients etc. Thanks

Two years ago, my brother had an accident that has left him with brain injuries for life. I was his caretaker up until June of 2006, but I had become ill and needed to be hospitalized. At that time, my brother was court appointed a legal guardian and placed into a rehabilitation center. My brother will be coming back home next month, but his guardian claims that he will be my brother's guardian for life. My brother and I do not want it this way. I'm willing to be my brother's caretaker again. How do we go about getting rid of the guardian?

I know I have a debt with a creditor and they have turned it over to a collection agency. The first time I talked to a collector I told them what my circumstances were: I had just lost my job, I was 7 1/2 months pregnant, I have no insurance, I have 3 toddlers I have to support, and I'm about to undergo two major surgeries. There is just no way I can pay anything right now. They keep calling me daily and I keep telling them the same thing. They told me to borrow the money from someone but there is no one. They want my credit card # so they can charge it at a later date...I don't think so. Recently they called my house when I wasn't home. My sister-in-law, who was babysitting, told them I wasn't home and they called her a liar and said that they knew it was me. Then she said they called back 10 minutes later. Everytime I talk to someone they get really snooty and impossible to be nice to.
Is there anyway to get them to stop calling me???

He already contradicted many of his stories and the last thing that we need is for our top law enforcer to lie. It's not the way to go if he wants citizens to trust him. It seems like the only one who is trusting him is Bush. He just doesn't know when to fire his cronies. If he can't find the courage ask that the AG resigns, then how can he have the guts to fight the war on terror.

My cousin is 17, and she still lives @ home with her 43 year old dad, and her 15 year old brother. They live in an orchird. At night, she had a gut feeling that someone is watching her. She told her dad , so he & her brother went out there and had guns. They were hiding in the back of her dads truck. After 2 hours or so, they didn't see, nor hear anything. They went back inside. She heard someone outside her window, & told her dad again. He didnt believe her, so she called her 21 year old boyfriend. He came over & slept on the couch. There was no more noise that night. The next night, her bro heard something, and only told her & no one else. During the day, she looked outside & saw the dust outside her window was disturbed by handprints, & the vent underneath her window was bent with a perfect shoe mark in it. Has anything like this happeneed to anyone? She is scared to death and want as much protection as she can get. Any suggestions? NOTHING RUDE THOUGH!!!!!!!!!!

But she did ask me to use search engines regaurding "forged signature", "forged contract", and "legal advice". Any help is appreciated.
