He already contradicted many of his stories and the last thing that we need is for our top law enforcer to lie. It's not the way to go if he wants citizens to trust him. It seems like the only one who is trusting him is Bush. He just doesn't know when to fire his cronies. If he can't find the courage ask that the AG resigns, then how can he have the guts to fight the war on terror.

On my way home this afternoon, I was listening to a news report indicating that Gonzales had no right to call the fired attorneys ineffective or unproductive.

In fact, the bias against them due to the people that they were going after seems to be growing by leaps and bounds.

This was a deeply biased and conspiratorial plan authored by people at the White House. The only real problem is that George W. Bush will get to nominate the replacement!

Not sure, but after Diane Feinstein's defense contract fiasco, the no-bid contract's to her husband's company and so on...you would think people would be outraged and demanding her to resign from her congressional post.

I was under the impression that no bid contracts were a thing that outraged people.

I guess ideology of who does a shady thing is am important factor in these types of things.

Yes, Gonzales should resign because after this, his name
will forever be linked with cronyism.
If he doesn't realize that, it's more evidence of his cluelessness & all the more reason for his resignation.

He he were half a man rather than Bush' Boy, he would not have taken the job in the first place.

He isn't doing the Mexicans any good being evasive and dishonest with misplaced loyalties either.
