I was looking through the Bible, but I'm having a hard time locating the verses where he says you should try to belittle and exclude your fellow man every chance you get.

I found the "turn the other cheek" passage, the "do not judge lest ye be judged", but I'm having a hard time finding the "screw everyone who's not just like me" passage.

Is it in the same chapter where it's explained how to treat your slaves?

Or would it be over by the passage that says you should stone a woman to death for adultery?

I could use the help of a very knowledgable Hypo-Christian.

Praise Jesus!

Not all Christians are Hypo-Christians, but many of the right wing fundamentalists have zero tolerance for anyone who does not follow their doctrines. Relying on the Old Testament is a fundamental error for one thing. The Old Testament reflects the laws of Jewish society before Christ. Although I am a Christian, I believe we should be judged by our acts and our words, not by the doctrine of a particular sect. I find it personally amazing that people who are Christians believe someone like the Dalai Lama is doomed to hell because of his Buddhist beliefs. There is truth and wisdom is every faith and there are self-righteous bigots in many of the fundamentalist faiths. I have seen postings on Christian political blogs that literally damn Democrats to hell--and I do mean literally. The hypocrisy of the right wing Christians is astounding. They should ask themselves if Christ would approve of their words and deeds, but they would never do that because they fear the truth.

it type of feels that you haven't understood the Trinity of God. Father in Heaven is God, so do Jesus and Holy Spirit. Father in Heaven is God the daddy. Jesus Christ is God the Son. Holy Spirit is God the Spirit. What does this all advise? God have 3 kinds of appearances, yet they're one. it really is what we reported as the Trinity of God. How come? God the daddy, Jesus and Holy Spirit have an similar ability, although their appearances and missions are diverse. some human beings reported that God the daddy's era is contained in the old testomony, then Jesus' era is in the course of the time he born till he reached Heaven, and Holy Spirit's era is from the e book of Acts till the suitable of the international. Is it real? not in any respect! it really is honestly pretend. examine Genesis and also you may discover that God the daddy, Jesus and Holy Spirit are there even earlier the international develop into created, then they deliberate to create the international mutually. would God furnish you with own information about Him.

Jesus wanted us to realize we need to make sacrafices and love our brothers and sisters even when they are outcasts in societies eyes. the slaves and adultery verses are in the old testament.....

Christians and conservatives give more money to charities every year....dems just want to give away other peoples money.

"For too long, liberals have been claiming they are the most virtuous members of American society. Although they usually give less to charity, they have nevertheless lambasted conservatives for their callousness in the face of social injustice."

The majority of people who proclaim to be Christians have no idea what it means. Many are called but few are chosen.
