I have an employee who claims that it is illegal for anyone to work more than 7 days in a row...but I'm not finding anything regarding this issue. The Department of Labor only states that overtime must be paid. Thanks for any help!

Noone has ever paid me anything. I get welfare, foodstamps, medicaid for my 2 children and myself. When my uncle decides to put her in a nursing home, we are out of a home, unless I can find some way to be able to stay in this house. Her will has left the house to her 4 children who help me with nothing. None of them even called her on mother's day. I finally figured out I could get financial aid for college and I'm taking Graphic Design for an associates degree. I just started that and I love it. My problems are, we have no transportation, and if they put her in a home, we have no home. Any help out there before its too late?

I was wondering if anyone knew if I could take legal action for my problem. My problem is that my finance is in the county jail for a fine that he missed a payment by one day. So a 72 hour bench warrant was issued. The 72 hours was up on Monday at 4pm. And the judge never made any type of court hearing and refuses to speak with me or him. What should I do? Should I hire a lawyer?

I have a two bedroom apt. My brother has recently moved into my second bedroom. He has mail sent here now. Recently my apt. manager has sent me a letter inquiring who (my brothers name) is and why he is receiving mail in my mail box. It further states to remind me that I am the only one who can receive mail here. I did not have my brother sign into the lease and so I am sure that she is right in saying that I am the only one that can receive mail. But I wonder how she came to know that he was receiving mail in my box. There are only two things I can think of, either she looked in my mail box or she was told so by the mail man. Now a neighbor said her and the mail man were friends so it is possible. Given this, does she have even have the right to ask me this if the two ways I stated above are illegal?

Having the victim carry out the punishment, one publicised recently was a young man carrying out the execution of a man who killed his father.
Who else should do it, if a death penalty is the sentence?

I think spammers should be sentenced to be at Freddie Kruger's pleasure, but he doesn't exist.

Hear the case of the 3 teenage boys in Merrill, WI who were charged with a felony because of the death of a Foreign Exchange Student who was drinking at a party. Later it was discovered the FES had addisons disease. These boys are charged with his death because they "brought the alcohol" These high school boys are 18 and under, they were not the only kids at the BYOB party. The only reason they were charged and no one else, is because they stuck around to try to revive the FES. I know a lot about this story and am sooo angry over it.. These are good boys. The DA copped a plea bargain that forced the boys to take, due to fear of their own lives, felony is not a joke. Personally, I'd like to know who supplied the boys with the liquor... must of been an adult.

I have a serious problem and limited financial funds. My daughter is in the process of being extradited from Arizona back to Florida for drug related crimes.
I have been raisng her 10 year daughter for the last 2 years with "weak" legal authorization.
Before she fled to Arizona about a month ago, she took my grand daughter with her. The child is now with the mother staying at the childs fathers house.
He is a twice convicted felon and a Crystal Meth user, just hasn't been caught with the drugs. He is on the birth certificate as the childs father, but was never acknowledge in the courts as her father. He has never paid any child support or shown interest in this child.
If I need to go and get my grand daughter in Arizona "if" Florida really brings my daughter back, can HE stop me legally?
He has zero money to hire an Attorney, therfore it will only be verbal threats at me.
ONE more thing, is he considered a Puntative father if his name is on the birth certificate?

How is this legal? It is my bike,on my property. Not using our roads so why am I forced to register it?
