If you were driving with a revoked license regardless of the reason, he should take you in.

If your License is revoked that essentially means you hae no License. It doesn't matter whether it's for drinking under the influence, unpaid tickets, or a medical reason.
It means you can't legally drive a car, and yes, you don't have to answer his questions about why the license was revoked. So the charge should be driving with a revoked license. I reccomend you hire an attorney. Driving without a valid license is no joke.

Of course he can. I'm assuming you were driving, which means you were driving without a license. If you weren't driving then you shouldn't have a driver's license if it was revoked. Either way you're breaking the law either by driving with a revoked license or by refusing to surrender a revoked license. And since he needs to know what happened to your license in order to figure out how to handle the situation, you were certainly impeding his investigation.

Were you driving on a revoked license?
Did you present the revoked license as identification when asked for id?
Those are both crimes.
The officer had the right to ask you why your license was revoked. Since you refused to provide the information, he not only could have taken you in custody for impeding and interfering, you could have been arrested for driving on or using a revoked license.

Don't tell me ...Your personal assistant did not properly inform you of all the conditions involving the revocations of your drivers license, Right? ( Are you Paris' bro? ) I would say that first of all, the police had to have probable cause to pull you over ... Your civil rights state so & you didn't mention WHY you were pulled over to begin with. So they ran your tags, found that your license were revoked for medical reasons ... ah dude, your upset because? You don't have a VALID license, no matter what the reasons ... a DUI or medical ... stay off the road, your endangering yourself & US! They had every right to arrest you as far as I'm concerned ... sorry.

Yes, I believe so. Your license was revoked and you were driving anyway. Thats against the law to drive with an expired license.
If it was an emergency and you have a good reason to drive, you should explain that to the judge.
Good luck.

If he has probable cause to think your hiding something then yes. Why were you driving on a revoked license anyway? Don't drive on a revoked license and you won't have this problem.
Were the hell has common sense gone?

Driving with a license that has been revoked - what part of ILLEGAL don't you understand? YES, the cop can take you into custody and put you in jail. It doesn't really matter that you didn't tell him why. It matters that you were driving illegally. Sorry but that's the law.

pepole A BYCICLE IS NOT A CAR A DRVERSLICENSE IS NOT NEEDED
that out of the way ,motervehicles though im sure knows the exact why legaly can disclose no more than the fact your license is suspended for medical reasons (not the exact why)
the cop is a compleed maroon .he had no right to know what the medical condition was .
you should walk out of court with nothing more than a fine for the missing reflector ,thats only if your state aplys defective equipment to nonmoterized vehicles wich i doubt

If it directly relates to a reason that he is involved with you (pulled you over) then yes. By the way I am pretty sure that when he runs you license it will tell him why it is revoked.
