I am not 100% sold on the whole conspiracy, but probably about 85% sold. There is just to much evidence against the obvious claims that contradict each other.

No, there is not. There are books and websites and lots of other things purporting to "prove" this and all sorts of other things (the lunar landing was a fake, FDR let Pearl Harbor be attacked, Jack the Ripper was Queen Victoria's personal physician, etc.) but when you start looking at hard evidence this particular theory breaks down.

For example, it would have taken teams of dozens of men weeks to install the boxcars full of explosives to implode even one of the Towers in the WTC. And there would be no way to be sure that the impact of a passenger jet into the building woudn't disrupt the control mechanism setting off the explosives.

That's just the beginning.

No. However, there are a lot of websites, books & web-movies claiming to prove it was in inside job. NONE of these arguments have EVER been published in a respected scientific journal because they are junk. Anyone can put stuff on the web or write a book, but you'll never see this idiocy in a scientific journal.

On the other hand, what really happened IS printed in journals. Just take a look at this:

1. The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), FEMA, and other agencies have issued a important report that kills the conspiracy theory arguments.
The FEMA report is at http://www.fema.gov/rebuild/mat/mat_fema403.shtm
The ASCE report is at http://www.asce.org/pressroom/news/display_press.cfm?uid=1057
It’s useful to see the investigation team and their credentials at:
http://www.asce.org/responds/wtc_team.cfm

2. Scientific American has come out against a 9-11 conspiracy. See
http://www.sciam.com/article.cfm?articleID=000DA0E2-1E15-128A-9E1583414B7F0000

3. Popular Mechanics published a huge article attacking the conspiracy nuts using over 300 renowned experts in
http://www.popularmechanics.com/technology/military_law/1227842.html

4. Massachusetts Institute of Technology has come out against the theory. See http://web.mit.edu/civenv/wtc/ This is a massive analysis that destroys the conspiracy theory.
So did Purdue (http://www.purdue.edu/UNS/html4ever/020910.Sozen.Pentagon.html), and others

5. NIST and FEMA both support the standard explanation of the WTC collapse. Yes, these are government agencies, but they are manned by scientists and others who can think and do whatever they see as correct. Unless, that is, the 9-11 conspiracy theorists are accusing them of being accessories to murder. See
http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/wtc/ and http://wtc.nist.gov/pubs/factsheets/faqs_8_2006.htm

6. Here’s an amazing article by the Senior Editor of Implosion World and by Protec, “one of the world’s most knowledge independent authorities on explosive demolition.” Protec was on-site when WTC collapsed and had sensitive seismography equipment set up the time. Their article is devastating analysis against an “inside job”. See: http://www.implosionworld.com/Article-WTC%20STUDY%208-06%20w%20clarif%20as%20of%209-8-06%20.pdf

7. The “intellectual leader” of the 9-11 conspiracy nuts may be Steven E. Jones, from BYU (Brigham Young University). However, Jones has been heavily criticized by his own colleagues at BYU. D. Allan Firmage, Professor Emeritus, Civil Engineering, BYU, called Jones’ statements “very disturbing.” Also, "The structural engineering faculty in the Fulton College of Engineering and Technology [at BYU] do not support the hypotheses of Professor Jones."
See http://www.debunking911.com/jones.htm to see how Jones was ripped apart by his own University.

8. If you view a film about a 9-11 “inside job,” you must hear the other side of the story. Just go to http://www.debunking911.com/index.html & you’ll see the explanation of the ridiculous claims made by these films. For example, WTC clearly fell slower than free-fall, you can see columns falling faster.

The above essentially ends the conspiracy theory. What possible explanation can there be why ALL the experts are against the conspiracy nuts? The 9-11 conspiracy theory is dead on arrival.

Nope. There is no proof that it was an inside job

9/11 just showed us how ineffective our Security had become; how our laxed custom/immigration policies were; and how information shared amongst our governement entities prevented pertinent information from being passed on.

its due these very major mistakes that allowed the events of 9/11 to happen.

sites that purport to say 911 was an inside job, have no facts or evdience to support their claims. all they have is hearsay, pure conjecture, rhetoric, and boderline slander/lible and lies.

many more. the claim by John W, is another example of the lies that the 911 truth movement likes to spread.

In the events leading up to 9/11 there was a lack of communication between law enforcement agencies and other agencies involved in our national defense. The person responsible for this stonewalling between agencies was Clinton's deputy attn general Gorelick.

http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/05226/553271.stm

After 9/11, Gorelick managed to get a seat on the 9/11 commission and began to cover her tracks.

There are a lot of them that are quite credible. The FBI did know ahead of time. Infact, they knew about 6 months ahead of time, as confirmed by a memorandum that was leaked. I suggest you look to the NY Times for confirmation.
