I recently asked a question about a way around micro chipping my pet (as I am morally opposed to the idea), for which I received many answers saying why? It’s such a good idea!

I then proceeded to ask about microchips in people. To which I received the complete opposite. The majority said no, never in a million years.

Why is it ok for your pets but not for you? This seems a very illogical way of thinking to me... please explain your reasoning on this

Thanks Sam X

Cops say legalize drugs ask me why?
Prohibition does not prevent cannabis use by children or the mentally ill, the vulnerable populations whom we supposedly want to protect. Instead, cannabis prohibition makes it more difficult for parents, patients, society, and doctors to control cannabis use.

The Drug War makes honest education about cannabis impossible, and leaves cannabis users marginalized in ways that make their lives more stressful. This stress is unhealthy for everyone, but it is certainly most damaging to people with schizophrenia.

Cannabis prohibition is not merely a failure; it is a counterproductive fraud that is harming those whom we claim we want to protect. There are currently more teens in treatment centers for marijuana in comparison to those admitted for alcohol.
Only an idiot would have to ask why alcohol is not the no#1 problem
after all alcohol is perfectly legal ( If you are 21.) That is due to responsible people handling alcohol by way of the carding and id system.

Contraband markets make no age disgression.
Since the crackdown on tobacco there are 75% fewer teens trying or using tobacco.
However when it comes to cannabis and other illicit substances it’s a whole
other ball game.
Control, regulation and better education work prohibition dose not.
Or as John Walters of the ondcp (Office for national drug control policy) calls it “ a war on drugs” (Sorry John but it's true look at the Netherlands)

America loves a war even if it is on it’s own people.

One of several reason they don’t legalize drugs is not because of the harm of drugs,
But people would lose more money in the long run.
Some of the people behind the support of this irrational so called war are
The tobacco industry, the alcohol and distilled spirit industry ( people simply don’t drink as much, or decide not to drink at all with cannabis meaning a decline in there sales.
The pharmaceutical corporations can not make money on whole or raw cannabis, but they can charge an arm and a leg for there synthetic Marinol (dronabinol) CIII.

The textile and paper industry would lose out from hemp production, sinse hemp dose not need to go through all the various processes that ordinary tree products would. Also it’s possible to get two harvest in in one season.

However people don’t know the difference between industrial hemp and smokable cannabis, yet they are able to distinguish between the two in other country’s like Germany, the UK , Netherlands and even Canada, but our `DEA agents are so dumb they cant tell the difference between a stalk and a bush.

The petroleum industry would be affected, sinse almost everything that can be made from petroleum can be synthesized from hemp oil, everything from bio fuel to even plastics. If North America would use a third of it’s land for hemp production we could create enough biofuel to supply an area the size of Canada.

Now also for a moment consider how many people are incarcerated over just cannabis who are currently in the prisons and jails.
If cannabis were legalized and all inmates serving time for cannabis were freed there would be an over abundance of empty cells, and millions of guards in this country would be no longer needed.
The prison building industry would almost be obsolete ( and if all drugs were legalized that would mean even more empty cells.
So the prison system must have some means of gaining more inmates.

Not to mention other areas such as treatment centers, probation.etc

or HIDTA high intensity drug traffic areas where money is fed in to law enforcement,

(they would miss there green $$$)

Drugs , not even alcohol are the cause of the fundamental ills of society, rather than checking people for the presence of drugs, they should first test people for stupidity, ignorance, greed and love of power.

She was "classified" at the time of the "outing" and had been covert with NOC status for many of her 20 years with the CIA. Many of her prior contacts were put at risk, both their lives and careers, and, as such, the security of America was damaged. Yet I hear a lot of Americans whining that "technically, no law was broken" and Libby should never have been tried. Seems to me there are several people in the administration who were grossly negligent at best and, at worst, commited treason.

I bought a car from this guy 2 weeks ago, me and my friends went on a road trip adn it broke down. I called him about it. I was pretty pissed because the engine had blewn. And he wrote to me on AIM saying that he would PAY FOR THE TOW, REPAIRS AND THE PENTALTIES OR I WILL GIVE YOU A FULL REFUND.
no questoins asked.

I had to tow the car quite a few miles to the next town for $800. I get a call from him a little bit after i get there with him saying tht it's my responsabilty to get the car fixed and i caused the extra damages and made it worse. i mean it's like he knew this was going to happen.

I want to take him to court because he did me wrong. I fel betryed by him. i just dont understand how he could go back on his words like that. I just want my money back!

but that AIM message was the only evidence to get my money back . only proof of what he said and i closed the box thinking that everyhting was gong to work out.

I'm 16 and I currently work full time. I pay for all of my utilities, car, food, etc. I am not in school, as I have already met all of the requirements for a high school diploma. I am interested in emancipation not because I am abused or neglected but because I feel I am stable enough to support myself. My parents are divorced & I live with my mom. I know a general requirement for emancipation is to be living on your own. My mom won't consent to this, as it would cause her to lose child support. On top of child support she recieves from my dad, I also have to pay her a portion of my earnings. If I attempted to live on my own, she would report me as a runaway. Is there any way around having her consent to emancipation? Could my dad consent to it even though I don't live with him? I just feel like her attachment to her child support check is holding me back from moving forward in my life. Provided that she was out of the picture, I'm sure I could live independently and on my own income.

My boyfriend got into an accident around V-day in which the airbag deployed. Here's what his dad wants to do:

1. Cut out the airbag and put a metal plate in the steering wheel, then duct tape the hole.

2. Pop a hole in the airbag and shove it back in and duct tape the hole.

How do you suppose we convince him that is not safe and illegal to do? Everything we have told him he says is a crock of crap and refuses to listen.

I am disabled and was getting SSI. I inherited some money and purchased a house. I lost my SSI which is understandable. I didn't work much in my lifetime because I was married twice and stayed home.

In my own lifetime earnings I'm told I will receive $226.00 a month if and when I ever reach 65. I am fighting a life threatning disease and need that small amount NOW. I'm told I cannot get this because I didn't apply during the so called proper time. I did, however, my file was lost through them and I can't prove it. I'm told this is the law, and I can write to the government about this. I have a number times, but my letters have been ignored and never answered. I've contacted social security attorneys, and they tell me the same thing. Too bad, they say I didn't apply during the right time.

This isn't fair, I did work and at least made what I made, I have been told I will receive medicare when I reach 65, that I worked enough to qualify for that. I have 15 years 2 go.

Yesterday me and my boyfriend were at my backyard taking a tan, with nothing but a thong on, when I notice a little boy staring at us from the other side of the fence. His head was poking out and everthing! So I quietly told my boyfriend, (the boy still unware) and he took out his RAZR and took a picture of the boy and made a 10 second video, witht the boy still unware we were taping him. He stood there for about 2 minutes, and then when he made eye contact with us he crawled back down and left.

I want to call the cops, but he's not even over age, and he's only 12 years old. We know that our neighborhood hates us because we're homosexual, so nobody is going to take our side. But I felt so used... So dirty... I wanted to cry, it was horrible, that young boy watching us made me sick....

Even though, everyone (neighborhood) will be against us, should I tell the parents who alreday ahte me, or should I just call the cops. Even though I got evidence will the neighborhood believe us?

The FBI has lied repeatedly about its use, and abuse, of the rights-robbing USA Patriot Act to obtain information on U.S. citizens.
Today we learn that the federal government, at the direction of the White House, routinely ignores the Freedom of Information Act and hides more and more government documents under a cloak of secrecy
Old georgie has fired the independent thinking U.S. attorneys, replacing them with lockstep right-wingers who share his view of totalitarian control of government. He ignores the laws of Congress, issuing "signing statements" that give him the power to do whatever he wants
The America we used to cherish is dead, replaced by a ruthless dictator. The America that more than 3,100 men and women died for in Iraq no longer exists

The US of A is brain dead with no chance for revival with its offiical police state open for operation.
Maybe it's time for a new American Revolution!!!!!
