I was charged with misdemeanor posession of stolen property in GA recently. I was sentenced to 24 months probation.

Rather than serve the probation in the state, I fled. I moved back to my home state of Kansas.

Recently, I was arrested yet again for posession of stolen property, in Kansas. I am currently out on bail. When I was arrested they didn't mention Georgia to me at all.

Would the prosecutors or investigators find out that I am on probation, and if so, return me to Georgia for a violation hearing and jailtime? Especially if the stolen property were traced to Georgia, where my ex wife stole it to begin with?

what difference does it make to the government if 2 gay people get married? and why should i care if 2 gay people get married? it doesn't effect me one way or another. who gives a s*iT.

i'm a straight male but i'm just curious. just because the politicians don't agree with it, why does it need to be illegal? isn't that taking basic human rights away from the gay community?

what i'm saying is that if you fall in love with the perfect woman for you, and all of us guys know how hard it is to find a good woman, no matter what country she comes from you would think it would be possable for her to move to the country you live in to be with you, so i feel the american government should at least warn people that they may not have a good life if they expect to bring a wife back home from another country, this information would save many people alot of greaf, but i realize that they don't want the public to know just how really bad they are to people who do have this type of marriage, when i was a boy in school, history and american government all ways sounded like their was so much respect from the government for the citizens they work for, but as a man iv'e learned the sad truth about the control they have over us, should they tell everyone infront about the chances your marriage takes dealing with the INS and fairness is no promise, whats your thoughts/ ideas

It is a historical fact that Bill Clinton was Impeached by the house of reps on 12/19/1999, yet most people have gone out of there way to point out that Clinton was not impeached even though:
1) he was impeached and
2) that wasn't part of my question.
I'm trying to understand this. Is this similar to the way Bill Clinton tried to manipulate the meaning of the word 'is' during the impeachment proceedings?

It might, but I know the anti-gay rights activists will find a way around it. Face it, all they need to do is to set criteria for some job, like someone under 5 foot, or right-handed person, or even looking for someone who is bilingual. They can always make an exception to these rules if they find someone who is otherwise very qualified, but that would give them a reason to not hire someone who is gay or lesbian
I really do not think it will ever matter. Really, think back to anyone you know who feels a certain way about this issue. Is there ANYTHING that you could say or do to change their minds? It will be like the law on jay-walking. Everyone does it, and nobody gets arrested for doing it.
I don't know. What do you think?

I am a Canadian citizen, but I was born in a small city in Iran. The United States export laws ban exports of all almost everything (including software) to countries like Iran and Cuba.

So when I go to download or purchase certain software that I need for work (for example any Adobe, or Oracle products), their terms of agreement bans me from getting the software. This is the beginning of Oracle's terms of use which I must agree to before using their products:

"You are not a citizen, national, or resident of, and are not under control of, the government of Cuba, Iran, Sudan, Libya, North Korea, Syria ..."

The keyword here being "national" and "Iran."

Again, I'd like to stress that I am a Canadian citizen.

Under what circumstances should the government be able to force its citizens to be vaccinated against diseases? What kinds of diseases should have mandatory vaccines? Airborne diseases? STD's? Any vaccines that are available?

Suppose there was a disease that would kill 10% of the public if nothing was done. A vaccine is developed which will prevent the disease most of the time, but causes death 1% of the time it is used. Should the government require everyone to get that vaccine in order to save 9% of the people, even if that means deliberately sentencing 1% of the people to death?

In a statement from my attorney it says:

(Defendant's Name), solely, jointly, and/or severally, or in alternative, in an amount not in excess of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000), together interest, costs, counsel fees and such further relief as this Court deems just and appropriate.

DOES THIS MEAN THE COUNSEL FEES ARE SEPARATE?

If a sweet innocent girl was brutally assaulted in school for no reason, and the offender laughs about it while she is crying in excruciating pain on the ground, and the girl parents only find out about it 10 months later, can they still file a law suite against the offender? Both the victim and the offender are 16 years old now, but at the time of the assault it’s possible that one or the two were 15 years old, does that makes any difference?

It happened in the State of CALIFORNIA, city of Corona.

THANK YOU!

Is it legal for an apartment complex to charge you for shampooing the carpet (it does not state you have to do it in the lease), cleaning the apartment and painting the apartment when you move out?

My husband and I moved out of an apartment complex and they deducted these charges from our security deposit. When we left the apartment, I made sure it was clean - vaccuumed, cleaned the appliances/counters, and was on my hands and knees scrubbing the floors. (I'm also 3 months pregnant and shouldn't have been inhaling the fumes of the cleaners, but it had to be done.)

Now this is an apartment complex that brings in a minimum of $78000 a month just from the complex we lived at, and to my knowledge, they go in and clean and repaint between tenants every time, so why do I have to pay for this?!

Any advice is appreciated. This complex is in Toledo, Ohio. Serious answers only - my blood pressure can't take smart asses.
