district has to provide us with potable water. The county water district requires us to pay usage fees. The say WE own the well, but THEY own the water. The water they are providing us with contains nitrates and the state is shutting our well down. This will leave us with no water. Is anyone else in a similar situation. The local government is providing us with tainted water and the state is requiring us to fix it... Any ideas?

There are so many MEDICINAL reasons to use it, so why is it still illegal? I can understand LARGE quantities, but why not have it available in pharmacies like other drugs? No there are not any documented cases of people dying from the drug... No, I have never tried it, but realistically there are many reasons to make it available to the people who need it.

This would save billions off the top. To keep Uncle Sam happy, if uncle bob dies with 200K left in his 'medicare fund' he wills it to whomever he wants. It can only be used for health care needs and lets say the gov gets 10% for the willing. If uncle Bob lives to 95 and runs his fund dry, the uncle Bob has to buy insurance or pay cash for healthcare. If he cant, then we shouldn't feel bad for him, as he didn't die until 95!!!

Correct me if I am wrong, but it’s NOT okay to put someone to death that killed (and some times worse) another person, but it is okay to kill a really really young person.

At my arraignment I was told that misdemeanor charges were being brought against me by the State of Oklahoma. The date of my hearing was set two weeks from then. I was to remain in jail if I could not pay a $5000 bail. Being indigent at the time, I phoned a bail bondsman. At my hearing I was informed that the State was bringing felony charges against me. When I requested public defense the presiding judge told me that I was not eligible, due to the fact that I had called a bondsman. Where's my 6th amendement? '§22-1355.6. Responsibility of System to indigent defendant.'... 'The Indigent Defense System shall have the responsibility of defending all indigents, as determined in accordance with the provisions of the Indigent Defense Act in all capital and felony cases and in all misdemeanor and traffic cases punishable by incarceration.' Oklahoma Constitution statutes. Once again, why am I not allowed a public defender?

my step father was defended by a public defender and was convicted of a murder someone else admitted to.he recieved life without parole.just recenently the public defender was arrested after a month long investagation, for possesion, and under the influence,he also was convicted of dui the same year of my step fathers trial .the judge said he recieved a phone call in his chambers from a lawyer requesting his release.,but the judge "doesnt recall the name"yea right.this is already half way under the rug,how do we get this case retried, what are the steps you suggest ,open to any.a lawyer once said to me that"justice comes to those who can afford it"and that scares me.to think a murderer or rapest can be free if he has money.

Approximately 1 month ago, my now ex-fiance had me arrested for false acusations of assault. When I was released from jail, the next day, she took our (both of us being the biological parents of and the child having resided in our home) infant daughter more than 1000 miles away. She has no intent on returning the child or allowing me visitation. The charges of assault, picked up by the state, have since been dropped due to lack of evidence. Do I have any rights in this matter? I just want to see my daughter again. Please help.
