I do also.

There was an essay that touched upon the nature of sexual predators called "The Difference Between 'Sick' and 'Evil'" (I think that was the title anyway, I can't remember who wrote it), anyway the point from it that I want to reflect is:

a sexual predator does not act like someone who is mentally ill, despite the common opinion that people with such a taste must be so. An insane person is dysfunctional: thus the "illness" in the term mentally ill. A sexual predator is quite functional, and benefits from this idea that they are just ill. The worst part of it all to me is, there is admittedly no change in sexual predators even after going through the very short sentence that they serve as is.

I don't know who disagrees, and I wish I could meet these people and ask them a great deal of questions why concerning this.

It depends on the crime....if someone that is 17 has sex with a 15 year old or something like that I think that executing them is a little excessive....if a 40 year old man rapes a 7 year old then that's totally different but the law will not differentiate that way so I think they should NOT be executed...

As Thales said about 2500 years ago:
That for which we blame others, let us not do ourselves.
To kill a killer one must become the thing that they do not accept.
Murder is murder even when it is a Sanction of the State. Some Nazi said that in his journal, he was hung.
Some found guilty were later discovered to be innocent, just one mistake should have been enough.
I do not condone the scum that are predators, I simply choose not to lower my humanity in order to satiate a societies lust for blood or some misguided notion of perverted justice.

They should be ecxecuted as they commit a crime which affects not only one person but all people who are in one way or another linked to the affectee, and the person who is affected is mentally traumatized for life which is irreparable,i think that even considering the possibility of some light punishment for these inhuman predators (correctly called) ,is a negligence in itself.

That would be good and I would vote for it. The problem is to many crazy judge's that just slap a lot of them on the hand and let them go on to do it again. If you watch Bill O" Reilly he is really on a crusade to get them locked up for life, one offense and your never coming out. It takes a lot of people writing their Congress men or women and raising a lot of heck to get anything done. Just think, if every member of this website would take the time to get off for a couple minutes and start typing an e-mail to their congress people, they would be flooded with protests over these predators.

I've never been to prison...but knowing people that have...I can SAFELY tell you that sexual predators are MUCH worse off in prison than they are dead. They'll WISH they were dead after being in jail for a few days. Prisoners don't put up with that ****.

Nope, being sent to prison and forced to live in the presence of violent inmates usually serves them justice.

I think they should be placed in a prison for them only and then given a life of some kind. I hate them, but from what I understand, it often isn't a choice, but from childhood abuse or mental issues. Just keep them safely out of society.

Two liberals are walking down the street and they see vicious rape in an alley.
They turn around and start to walk away very quickly.
One liberal says to the other “I feel terrible about what we just saw. Just think about what could have driven him to do that.”

I think they should be put in the general population of the prisons. That would be poetic justice.
