Hello, Im wondering if anyone would know the price of bringing someone to court in order to place a lien against them in the state of SC?

Contact your nearest Magistrate's court or Court of Common Pleas in the county where you live in South Carolina. They should be able to advise you about procedures in filing a complaint (lawsuit). Which court? County, District or Small Claims?

If it's under $5,000. Try the small claims court.
