Law & Ethics - January 2007

We know there are at least TWO private sector videos of what hit the Pentagon and that the FBI confiscated them. Since this war on terror is being fought by our sons and daughters and since there is compelling, yet circumstantial as it may be, evidence that raises a lot of questions about who really attacked the Pentagon, I believe it is only prudent for the public to see the confiscated video recordings. After all, it's no secret what the government has said happened, so why then should it remain a secret as to who actually did it?

So, in a most sincere and serious manner I ask the following question:

How would someone go about FORCING the Government to release the confiscated video taped evidence of the ACTUAL happenings regarding the September 11, 2001 attack on the Pentagon?

I am not asking for anything but an answer to my question. Comments on how wrong or crazy I am for asking are not being solicited.

My wife was in active labor and we were diverted from our planned hospital of delivery to a non-network hospital. I called the insurance company, and was informed it was against the law for them not to cover the bill. The claim has been denied for the 4 time now for the full bill. I want to know if my insurance company has a legal obligation to pay the entire bill as that is what they told me initially.

I'm an hourly at will employee in the state of California. I want to know if my employer can demand I use my PTO benefit rather then just accept no pay.

I want to know if it's my legal right to accumulate and save my PTO in the event of an emergency. As an hourly employee a week of no pay could financially devastate me. Is it legal to not allow me to save my PTO and just accept no pay when I have to go to the dentist or the dr?

As it is my PTO is being whittled away by routine preventative health maintenance. As an hourly full time employee, shouldn't I have the choice to take no pay or use PTO to cover a Dr's appointment, 1-2 days of sickness etc?

I have heard many from Japan just pick a nick-name and go with that? What do you think?

My parents have been divorced since I was 3 years old. Before my dad used to pay about $500 per month for my raising, since I live with my mom. But because my mom has a new car, and we rent our home and all, it seems that I don't get enough money. Just since 2006 and now, he has been paying me only $170 to raise me for child support or whatever. Now, I can't cover my medical fees for asthma, and school. I don't even have enough money that I can save up to get a DJ starter set. I eavesdropped when he took me out to eat, he was talking to his doctor about his Hep B and C results, and his friends say that he said he's been playing with WOMEN. Is it right to only give me $170? I don't even have money to buy some fun stuff other than clothes and earrings, that my mom buys me all. How much should a Canadian citizen dad give to their daughter? Can I get my mom to speak with a lawyer? I'm only 12 years old. Because I really think the money he pays per MONTH! I can't survive with.

Barack Hussein Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Barack Hussein Obama, Sr., a black Muslim from Nyangoma-Kogel, Kenya and Ann Dunham, a white atheist from Wichita, Kansas.
Obama's parents met at the University of Hawaii.

When Obama was two years old, his parents divorced. His father returned to Kenya. His mother then married Lolo Soetoro, a radical Muslim from Indonesia. When Obama was 6 years old, the family relocated to Indonesia. Obama attended a Muslim school in Jakarta. He also spent two years in a Catholic school.

Obama takes great care to conceal the fact that he is a Muslim. When asked, he points out that, "He was once a Muslim, but that he also attended Catholic school."

Obama's political handlers are attempting to make it appear that Obama's introduction to Islam came via his father, and that this influence was temporary at best. In reality, the senior Obama returned to Kenya soon after the divorce, and never again had any direct influence on him again.

We've talked, written, and given information to these people. Their HEAVILY scented laundry products fill our yard and home when they do laundry, causing headaches and nausea for myself, suffering from Multiple Chemical Sensitivity. We've tried everything for some peaceful resolution. We've asked them to use Unscented, or at the very least do their laundry either early in the day or late in the day. Nothing helps. They say they will be cooperative, yet the problem persists. Because of their actions, I can not go outside and enjoy our lovely backyard. I can't play with my dog, or even do yard work. The smells are sooo strong you can taste it. Others without MCS, have commented on how strong it is.
Please, any advice would be greatly appreciated. Most people can't imagine such a life. It's caused me to give up alot, but I won't give up my own back yard without a fight. Why can't people who want their clothes to smell, just spray on perfume, why do we all have to breath the chemicals?

In my imagination... I think it would be great if everyone was temporarily sterilized at birth, and then once they are ready for a child, they could apply for a licence to reproduce. They would have to prove their understanding of the responsibilies of parenthood, and pass a basic criminal background check to make sure they weren't pedophiles and such. What are your thoughts?

Smoking and Drinking is just as bad, teens and adults both get in many drunk accidents a day more than smokers or second hand smokers it seems. Why is it that cig. companies have to pay more? Well...maybe because they lied about their product? Or is it that America just jumps from blames to blames, cigs than mcdonalds...
