Actually, this is an interesting subject.
With the standard disclaimer that this is not legal advice, Texas law has an unusual way of handling sex toys.
If it is not phalus-shaped (i.e. a vibrator) it is legal as a personal massager (you're massaging your shoulder, right?)
If it is phalus-shaped (i.e. a "dildo") it is not legal to purchase for sexual purposes, but is legal to purchase for educational purposes (i.e. as an instructional tool for condom demonstrations).
