I was traveling with my ex-boyfriend, when he abused me physically for about the 7th time. I almost died, and I called police, he was arrested and sentenced a few months later. He left to go back to the state where we lived and I chose not to go back to him. However, I did not have a car, or many necessities, including a place to live. I am also disabled and not able to work. I stayed in Colorado with a friend, the state assisted with living fee but they do not assist in other ways, except for the counseling I needed after the abuse.

Now I am back close to my mom, who is in bad health, and I had to find a way to pay for every financial area, that a person must, to get a place to live and utilities. I am not able to pay my electric bill, that was due the 10th of December, but did get extension until December 28th. The amount due is $128.00 and I do not have it and no it is not because of Christmas shopping, ect. I do not know where or how to get help.

There is no questioning that mr. bush is doing just the opposite. Are we as citizens suppose to do something about it? If so, and we are not, I assume we Americans approve of his destroying our rights and we will allow him to continue. Is this true, or is this false If it is false what are each of us suppose to do about it. I mean who can we call to rectify the problem.

What are the politicians motives behind mass immigration? It seems to me that especially in the u.s. that most people are against the mexicans coming through the border. So my point is...Why do the governments allow this to be if it is obviously causing so much unrest. I thought that politicians (through democracy and the elective process)were the mouthpiece of the public! so whats going wrong?

i was going into the driveway of my apartment buildidng one night, when i heard the scratch, from a wire that was sticking out that i did not see. when i got off the car it was a piece if the properties' fence that was pulled out. now my new car has this long scratch, and the property management is giving me the run around. it just so happens that the building was sold, so theres new management. the old management is telling me to talk to the new people that took over, but they have nothing to do with this. nor they want to. i called consumer affairs. and they are telling me that they are not responsible, so who is? am i stuck with $400 worth of damage, because of their fence. what if a kid was playing/running and poke an eye out?

I need to know if I have this stupid marijuana charge on my record from my college years on it because my employer is going to check my background and I want a heads up because I told them it was clean as a whistle. In America we elect a known cocaine user to office but poss. of marijuana will keep you from getting a real job no matter how many years of college and experience you have!!!

alright here's the deal...i might be getting fired from hollister, heres whats up

at hollister, if we need days off, we go to the computer, log onto our account thing, and go to the calender and click on the days we cannot work

so heres what happened
two weeks ago, i took off tuesday, wednesday, and friday of this week. last week, i checked the comptuer and it said that the managers approved of the days i needed off. HOWEVER, they still scheduled me for those 3 days, even though i took the days off and they approved. today i called them and told them i could not come in and that i took these days off two weeks ago and it was approved.

a few mintues ago, my friend called me and told me i was screwed!!

wtf, i clearly let the managers know i could not work, they approved, but they still scheduled me and now i might get fired because i didn't go in.

it would be unfair if i get fired, can i sue???

My ex called the police & told them I was on drugs (I wasn't) drunk (I had one because it was Sun afternoon & I was washing my dogs.) and that I threatened him with a gun. I was waving it around & pointing it at him. None of this was true. I have a legal gun. I chained up my dogs outside to give them a bath, came back inside to get some tunes & when I came back out, it looked like the entire police force was on my front lawn with their guns pointed at me! I spent 3 weeks in jail until he figured out that he locked up his paycheck. All charges were dropped & I got my gun back. Anyone have a similar experience? I left him soon after this.

I live in Tn and she has her in Co. So I called the sherrif they won't do anything. So I have to go all the way there and get her.
