Americans aren't stupid they are just incredibly spoiled. Our nation is taking the same track that ancient Rome took, gimme, gimme, gimme. we have become a nation of brats who think everybody else owes us something. The democrat party is a leader in this philosophy with the republicans running a close second. We are doomed.

Perhaps its a lower percentage like 40% or so I think you can blame the media and the Liberals for that level of self defeating self absorbed ignorance. By the way the percentage of people who talk on their cell phones when driving is probably about 80% women and 25-30% men

Actually, People are always looking for the easy way out, and they are always trying to make themselves look good. Realistically, if you use those are reasons for stupidity, then %100 of americans are stupid.
Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God". Even if you don't believe the bible this is believable.

Perhaps before accusing others of stupidity you should address your own failures...
(i) why ARE 65% (NOT why is)
(ii) the tobacco company is Phillip Morris (NOT Phillips & Morris)

Insensitive and greedy...hardly makes someone stupid. But I thing your % number is kinda high...most people keep the freeway moving and are accountable for their actions...you're letting the few, make you cynical. Its time to take a deep breath and a little vaction time to get your CHI in order. Than that number will drop down to less than 1% where it belongs.

Because over the past 30 years, we've seen more and more liberal BS like not punishing your kids, almost everyone having some kind of mental disease, and encouraging people to sue over the slightest thing.
