When I was younger, I got bullied by a cop and when I hit him back, they took me away. I had to sit in jail until the district attorney heard everything. He knew there was something wrong with the cop's story, so he agreed to drop the charges if I did probation.
I'm an attorney now, and if that happened today, I would take the city to the cleaners.
There is no doubt in my mind that there are innocent people in prison.

I've not had an experience like that, but here's something you can do.
If the person who had you arrested made statements to the police that later turned out to be false, and you were imprisoned as a result, you can sue for false imprisonment. There are laws against making false or misleading statements that result in arrest and being detained. If the police investigation turned up with nothing on you, then you could seek civil damages in court for the length of your unlawful incarceration.
Speak with a civil attorney about your options.

Me twice, When I was a teenager, my friends came over and
I went with them to Santa Monica and the Police pulled us over
claiming they were looking for someone else in a different car,
to top things off we were in a truck which didn't make no ******
sense anyways they claimed I was high on Marijuana, When I
had just taken my Promethazine/Codeine. I tried to tell them but
they just wanted to arrest someone and that was us, so away I
went. I stayed there until my parents picked me up. The second
time I went to the beach with two of my male friends and I had
taken off to the rest-room. When I was walking back the police
was arresting my Friends for smoking Marijuana and having a
big sack. When I walk up I told them I was with them so they
arrested me too, What I should of done was stayed back and
watch from a distance, but I was only thinking how was I going
to get back home, well instead of going home I ended up in jail.
Thats what you call being at the wrong place at the wrong time.
Cause I could of been smoken and admitted, but no I wasn't
at the time. But I wish at that that time I was since I went to
jail for it, don't put me in jail if I'm not.

Iv'e heard the jails are full of innocent people. But if you spent three weeks then there was some reason for them to keep you that long.

it is why, in case you ever take a seat as juror which you permit the in charge pass unfastened earlier you incarcerate the harmless. i've got faith whether you escaped the choose could be lenient upon you in case you have been chanced on harmless and you had no longer harmed anyone collectively as escaping. the probabilities of you no longer harming anyone collectively as escaping is the perplexing area. that's the previous 2 wrongs do no longer make a fascinating concern.

Well...yea i kno, it's unfair that some people have to go to jail when they are innocent
actually every1 is innocent till proven guilty.
Maybe he was angry for some wierd reason and tried to lose his anger by playing a prank on the police which they might have taken seriously.
