If someone is drinking alcohol at your house. they leave and get into an accident and either hurt themselves or someone else is your Homeowner's insurance liable or you personally for damages. Can you be sued personally for their accident?

i financed my car through wells fargo we have never been late on any payment we pay whats on the bill. we had insurance on the car since we had it and sent them what they needed so they dont tac on there insurance. well we switched cpmanys in october and sent them what they needed. onn december first they decided to tac on insurence even though we haveit. i did a three way call with wells fargo and my insurance company and they got everything that they needed. well they call over three times aday witch by the way is considered harrassment in my state i havve told them to stop calling bwecause they wont talk to even though they have my power of attorny and my husbabnd has called and told them they can talk to me. iu sent the poa 7 times. they claim that htey have nothing logged in the computer about that. some of them talk to me others dont. what do i do

I was given a summons to appear in court, For a loan that i haven't started paying yet because the man i was supposed to pay back closed the account i was supposed to make payments in, I have a restraining order against him so i wasn't about to make contact w/him, even though i wanted to start paying him off! Anyway, the man that was taking me to court never showed up! So the Judge dismissed it, how does that work and can the man actually get another summons for this particular case?

I was loaned some money that I agreed to pay a minimum of $150 a month to pay this loan back, but before i could make any payments this man closed the account i was supposed to make it in,Because we had a falling out with eachother & i actually had to put a retraining order on him since he was coming into my place of work and being threatning towards me & saying he was in-love with me & being completely physco!!. I was completely intending 2 make my payments on time 2 this account, But when he closed the account there was no way to pay him unless i got into contact with him, which i was not about to do! But,I even signed a promissary note stating that fact! (Y did he close the account)?, but now he wants it all at once even though the promissary note says i agree to make payments, and also now he has taken it to court. Will I have to pay it all at once or make the payments like i agreed to in the note? What kind of trouble will i be causing myself even though i agree 2 pay the paymnts?

If not what can i do to reverse this action. i am not behind on rent there was a person disagreement in which i was asked to leave with no notice when told by authorities that this action wasn't legal she changed the locks.

Son was not allowed to have ear pierced until 18, but new girlfriend (less than 2 weeks) signed as guardian. According to my other sons, the dad didn't know till after the fact either. What can be done, since this will send a message to my children, and others, that it does not matter what the parent says, it just matters if you can find someone to lie and sign as legal guardian!! How can this person do this to someone else's child, even if the minor wants it?? How can I be expected to try to teach my children right and wrong, and being of age to make their own decision, if there are other people who do not care what the parent wants??? If I do nothing about this, how can I set boundaries for my children, when others will break them?? I am upset and confused about this, and need someone's advice!! I realize that the earring at this point isn't that important, but the issues behind it are. No other person should be allowed to decide something for my child without the legal right

He was just found guilty of sexual assualt of a child and repeated sexual assault of same child and on top of that it was a person he was related to. He has not seem our child for a few years, but i am worried that he will try to get visitation one day. Do u think they will take his record into consideration? They won't allow unsupervised visits will they? you think?

How can I get my money back?
It was through base.google.com
and person was from Hong Kong and asked me to pay via western union and I paid w.u through my debit card anyway I can get money back if it is a scam?
They did email me back on the 26th

I don't know if anyone saw Dateline last night, but they did a really interesting study on people's reactions to things they saw, varying from drunk people getting into cars to getting an extra 100 back at a restaurant. The one thing that is really disturbing is the number of people that won't step in and help someone from being abused by their significant other. Having had firsthand experience in this (I was assaulted in broad daylight when I was pregnant- several people saw- nobody even called for help) I have been working with youth educting them about family violence and how they can prevent it from happening and save others. I am speaking to a group tomorrow and was wondering if anyone else had any kind of input in this area maybe after seeing the show last night..
