not only traffic but any area of personal responsibility.

I saw the video and it's a very interesting concept...i think that it would require a good deal of self discipline and drivers would have to put down their cell phones and makeup to concentrate on the road. One significant draw back is the concentration it does require, especially to people with small children. In the United States, a country with far more drivers than the Netherlands this anarchy of the roads would be more difficult to deal with. However, I think it is a wonderful idea and it seems to be working brilliantly in Holland.

If Americans were able to accept any sort of personal responsibility we wouldn't need traffic lights, personal injury lawyers, insurance companies or welfare.

No, I don't agree with it. It would never work because we let stupid people drive.
