I was shocked to discover one of my neighbours, legs akimbo, in last month's Readers Wives section of a well known adult magazine. I know for a fact that she is not married to the man she's shacked up with. Should I go to the Police?

I live in Michigan and I got a nonsense parking ticket for a one hour violation where there was no one hour sign. This happened back in September and I have been ignoring it. Yesterday they sent me a letter in the mail saying that my licenses can be suspended in 14 days if I dont pay. It also says that a warrant can be issued for my arrest and that they can refuse to renew my licenses. Can they really suspended my licenses for a parking ticket?? I have never gotten a moving violation so how can they do this??

I have worked for my employer for 10 years and now they are asking for medical details, they say they do it every year to update the records but i know i never have been asked. I do have a medical condition my site manager is aware of it, ive never taken time off sick with it.

The chosen best answer and asker both believe that we're being forced into honoring our fallen military and, in my interpretation, we're being forced into burdening security measures designed to protect ourselves.

Do you think that the people should be allowed to vote more on issues instead of having the minority, ie senators, congress people, and the judicial branch decide things based on their interpretation of the constitution, the bill of rights, and our current laws? Why not let the people of the US vote and decide if we should change the 1st ammendment to ban protesting at any funeral reguardless of the nature of the death, the lifestyle of the person, or the occupation of the person. Let the PEOPLE decide!

a 16 years old guy forces a 15 years old girl to have sex with him but he couldn't convince her for that hence he takes her down and forcefully fingers her and besides this he threatens her of telling on her to her mother that she still talks to her bf when her mother doesn't want her talking to him, and so he forces her to give him a bl0w job and when she even didn't agree for that, he settles for a hand job and she had to give him one because she didn't have a choice and was way too scared to do anything else?

i am an acting manager in the NR area and i have recently passed the board, yet i am not being given the opportunity to act over the xmas period, but others who have not passed thr board. We have no female front line managers in thr NR area. However we do have a temorary promoted (female)ML2. I ran a hub for two and a half years. It was very successful, but closed due to cut backs. i was temorarily promoted within that period (for 18 months). Yet, since then (six months ago) have only been asked to act for one month. I feel discriminated against. Can you help.

I changed my phone number and she hasn't called since... but now co-workers are telling me she is peeking in the windows at work looking for me & I don't feel safe out in public. She hasn't directly threatened me, but I feel harassed. He and I are done and over with and I just want her to leave me alone. What can I do? Do I need more substantial evidence that I'm being harassed than this? Or are the witnessess at work enough? How much does it cost to get a restraining order?

First my understanding: We are granted "freedom of speech" in the Constitution. However, I know that there should be a proper way of acting in public. There should be guidance for children when they are exposed to things that may seem inappropriate, such as nude sculptures in a museum or certain television show material. However, as adults, do we need other people to tell us what we can or cannot say in public? Sure, it looks bad when someone is speaking like a sailor, but then again, a sailor speaks like that because that's how a sailor speaks. If I wanted to use 'colorful' language on this forum, and if it offends anyone, why should it be blanked out and my original thought edited? Can't the other person choose to not read my comment and move on? I think that Americans, and it's mainly old Americans, are too uptight that they want to turn back the clock to a time when supposedly nobody cursed or exposed nudity. Can't people just grow up and accept other's thoughts?

On 29 September 2003 Tom Mshidi the General Director of East African standard and Divid Makali the chief editor of Sunday Standard were arrested by the criminal investigation department officers (CID) in Nairobi according to Nairobi’s Central PPO, the two men published alarming Newspaper article implicating senior Government officials in reference to the planned execution of Dr. Crispin Odhiambo Mbai.

However on 14 October 2003 Tom Mshidi and David Makali were set free on a bond KSh. 500,000 and a surety of a similar amount.


POLITICAL VIOLENCE
Yet in another closely related incident the government was supposedly partially blamed wherby on 26 October 1981 Mr Adan Hassan populaly known as professor Hassan started his own carrier in Nairobi University as a lecturer in economics 8 year latter he was promoted as a professor in political science and economics for his hard working and started participating in political rally meeting with the opposition members

But unfortunately on the 27 of February 2004 professor Hassan was found dead with 3 bullet in his chest.

According to Newspaper articles published on the 19th of May 2004, it was believed that professor Hassan’s death had something to do with the his political life and the people who were involved in his death.

A statement which was made by the journalist who published that article says that they paid an amount of money so that the article can be published and he was too close to the family before his disappearance on the 22 of may 2004.

The question still remains can people who commit heinous crimes and are still working for the Government ever be brought to book?

Our constitution and religious books (gita, quran, bible etc) were
written prior to the invention of ICT
(information and communication technologies) and other scientific technologies.

Isn't this is the right time to review and rewrite them.

I have having problems with employees smoking at a non smoking mcdonalds resturant in Ohio. Its after the dine in side closes and we are a 24hr resturant. I have contacted the owner of the resturant and she wont do anything about it becuase shes a smoker herself. What can I do to protect my self from the harful effects of second hand smoke.

Managers allow this smoking also.

My husband and I are fair baord members, some reg. members voted to no longer allow married couples to serve on the Board of Directors, is this legal? I personally don't care what someone does to their own body. Some argue that the fetus is already a person. These people usually say abortion is murder. And that's fine, that's their belief.

However, doesn't that mean that miscarriages caused by poor care should be considered murder, too? For example, a woman who smokes during pregnancy and has a miscarriage caused the death of a fetus. Is that murder as well? Should it be outlawed?

Are people who are pro-life as avid about outlawing smoking during pregnancy as they are about abortions? Should they be?

I recently had some people get in an accident in my apartment parking lot. There were no markings to indicate they could park there but they did and someone ran into them. Let me get this straight. If you are convicted of a crime, you don't have to give any imformation that would held the proscuter's case.

And the defence lawyer has the same rights. He or she would be incriminating their client if they gave up certain imformation. Even if the client told things to the defence lawyer about a murder or such.

BUT I HAVE ALSO HEARD that the defence lawyer can't hide certain imformation from the court, and be held in contempt.

What is held back from the court and what isn't? What rules apply?

Sorry for my poor knowledge of termenology. Law & Order is all I have to go off of. :)
