Do you have a grievance procedure at your place of employment? If so, then there seem to be good reasons to invoke it. You write a letter to your employer setting out the grounds for your grievance and they should respond offering you a time and place to meet with them to discuss it. All being well, you should be able to reach some accommodation. ACAS can give you advice on how to proceed. http://www.acas.org.uk/
