If you had to chose to vote on if we had gun control between the following, how would you vote?, One stating that any person at any time can regardless of there mental state, criminal record or history can go in and buy any kind of hand gun, rifle or assault gun at the spur of the moment. OR Having a background check mandatory to make sure he is not wanted by the law or has a violent criminal record or has a history of mental illness.
Is gun control so bad then, or is the "out of my dead cold hands”, we have the right to all bear arms at all cost theory. Would gun control at least help (if) only help though keep guns out of the wrong hands, having the choice of the 2, which it is pretty much like in real life, how would you choose? Most Gun control laws are not take all guns away laws
PS: I am a proud gun owner, not a hunter but target shooter.

What are your thoughts on this controversial topic?
In countries where the death penalty and other forms of "brutal" punishments are in place they see less crime because people fear the consequences.

In the UK no one fears or respects the law, rather they laugh in the face of it. I have asked older people what the feelings were towards the police when they were kids, and in general there was respect.

I work in a busy town center and I see people get aggressive and violent with the police. Would these people not be better dealt with by getting a good smack?

Where as i have been ordered to prepare estimates & tender schedules for the works which is not at all a part of my duties i.e. preparation of drawings. In this regard, i have been blackmailed with severe punishments if i don't do the same. Also, i have been ordered to sign the tender documents. Further, i have been forced to adopt some unethical practices in favour of a sect of people. This is all against my will and i am undergoing lot of mental agony due to all of the above. I request some legal advise in regard to what method i have to adopt to overcome the above situation.

I recently went to a Bush basher website. In the first paragraph he ridiculed George Bush for being a Christian. In the second paragraph he ridiculed George Bush for not being Christian.

Bashers also attack George Bush for being a dictator, while freely using every medium available: articles, columns, essays, protest marches, documentaries, bumper stickers, T-shirts, et. all.

How can Bush be a dictator when dictators don't allow people to criticize them?

Futhermore, in the Katrina aftermath Bush was criticized by these people for NOT being a dictator. According to Bashers, Bush was supposed to charge in, seize all private property, ignore all legal and contractual obligations and just start rebuilding the region according to whatever he saw fit. Hello?

Don't get me wrong. I am highly amused by the stupidity of others. But I'm worried that Bush bashers are still allowed to drive cars and to handle sharp objects. Sooner or later someone is going to get hurt.

During a mock trial for High School juniors, what questions would be good for the Attorney to ask someone playing William Calley (Vietnam War lieutenant charged with war crimes) to prove that the U.S. was guilty of abusing it's power in the Vietnam War.

Note: This is for school and was approved by the teacher to get different kinds of questions for the trials. Also, please don't tell me how the U.S. is innocent. In class, we are not allowed to choose defense or prosecution, the teacher just assigns us the prompt. Thank you!

Has anyone ever successfully sued their neighbor for poisioning them from the effects of not only second hand smoke but marijuana fumes also?

My neighbor smokes "weed" (marijuana) on a regular basis and it comes up through the floors in my apartment and it is beginning to affect my health.

I have notified the apartment managers where I live but they are not doing anything. Is there legal action that can be taken against the neighbor downstairs before my health is further affected?

I was taken to the hospitol because of back pain and pain in my upper stomach. I found out the company had insurance for the vehicle but not the driver, so my medical was not covered. also I was wrongfully fired from this company, A year later another driver got into a accident almost killing his passenger by pulling in front of a semi truck, both his passenger and the truck driver were hurt and he is still driving for the company, however I did not have a passenger and the people in the other car were not hurt. Is there anything I can do as far as suing the company for my medical. If more info is needed you can e-mail me. thank you before hand.
