In light of the recent court decision to pay a large amount of money to guests of HM the Queen, who were forced to go "cold turkey" from their regular heroin fix without any treatment, would a patient, who is also a nicotine adict, have a case if he decided to go the same legal route with one of those hospital administrative bodies who have banned smoking?

.. Why is it that if I sell an event ticket (e.g. a concert or sporting event) for a cost that exceeds the face value of the ticket, it is considered scalping (illegal at least in CA) but I can sell my PS3 for $5,000 on eBay (more than six times its "face value") and it is perfectly legal?

If a employer leaks information about a employee are they held accountable for that information that was leaked? A supervisor told a non employee that someone was going to get fired and in turn the non employee told the person that was going to get fired. What can the person that was going to get fired do? and does that fall under the Privacy Act. I went to a lawyer about this and they said they couldnt do anythign about it and that the Privacy act has nothing to do with it.

First of all,I would like to say Moorthy is an Indian and is national hero (Malaysia) as he successfully climbed Mt Everest with a group of Malaysian expedition group in 1997..he has joined the army and became an elite comando after that...now the thing is in 2005,he collapsed in a training ground...and was hospitalized..and he was in a coma sooner after that...he later died..but the question arose suddenly when the Islams took his body and buried him in a Muslim custom way.. and later Moorthy's wife file a suit to the Islamic High Court to claim her husband's body back..but lastly, the Islamic High Court managed to win as they claimed that Moorthy had converted into Muslim with the name Muhamad Abdullah although there's no legal papers or documents...is this right?? is this freedom of religion..? what do u think? fyi, Moorthy spent the rest of his life practising Hinduism...

Bait and switch does not apply because it isn't an advertising issue.

I purchased top of the line Product X and Product Z bottom of the line product were installed without my knowledge.

Also, who is responsible the Retailer or the Installation company the original contract states Product X top of the line. I was not informed from either company I was getting a different product. I figured it out myself (thank goodness)

I have not paid my balance and the company is taking me to small claims court. I need the legal code so I can defend myself.

Missouri State Appeals Court frees woman who was held as sexual predator

I was looking up this case because she was HIV+ at the time she sexually abused five young boys. She was freed on the grounds that women cannot be sexual predators and thus are not required to meet the same standards as men, such as registering.

Recently, a Missouri man has been charged with having sex with women while being HIV+, so I wanted to see if they ever recharged her with this crime. I have a reporter also looking. Weren't we surprised to find there was no case listed. Some time in the last three years, she got the record expunged, so there is not record of her actions, let alone that she did it while being HIV+.

Now the question to be asking yourself, do you deserve to know if she is living in your neighborhood?

I'm doing my thesis for my law degree, and I'm doing it about the Violations of due process of the accused in the Nuremberg trials (I’m not pro-Nazi or neo-Nazi or anything like that, JFTR), I'd like to know any sources for information, against and pro the process, any criticism, and any information in general about the Nuremberg Trials, but in specific about the due process violations, any help would be greatly appreciated, anyone interested in helping me or discussing the theme with me is welcome to, from side of the debate.( Zucco1018@yahoo.com)

Thank you.

I want to work in a big firm doing tort law or litigation. I was wondering what the best education before law school would be. Any college, majors, minors, or any other suggestions would be really helpful. I need to know specifically what to take while in college.

I have just qualified as a nurse and have just got a provisional offer for a job, subject to the outcome of my CRB form.

Roughly 2 years ago I was involved in an incident whereby I was thrown out of a nightclub and attacked by a nightclub bouncer. The bouncer phoned the police and accused me of attacking him. The matter went to court, and luckily, the CCTV footage was preserved and showed 6 counts of assault from the bouncer: throwing me down a flight of stairs, headbutts, and sitting on my chest. At magistrates court all the evidence was given and I was found innocent (The bouncer is still working in the same job... that's not my question, but I'm quite peeved about it still...)

Would this information show up on my CRB form? I hear there's a 'soft' section which the police fill out after the CRB do their initial check

It's really worrying me cos I've read other cases where people have been found innocent and it still shows on the CRB check

p.s.. sorry for the babble

George Weller got probation after killing 10 people with his car and injurying about 68 others. The judge said because of his medical conditions, it would be too much trouble to put him in prison, so instead he got five years probation.

At the very least I think this should lead to some change in laws about what age people should no longer be able to drive. Do you think this is fair?
