Depends if there was a film in the camera.
If you get caught for speeding in a 30 its a £60 fine and 3 points. Bummer, I got caught twice

It depends on several things.
If you only saw one, as opposed to 2, flashes, then on most camera types you are ok: they are programmed to flash only once and not record a picture for marginal speeding offences, the thought being it acts as a warning.
It also depends on whether there was film left in the camera. Many, while working, use their film rapidly, so even a double flash doesn't guarantee that you'll be prosecuted.
The only way to be sure is wait a couple of weeks: if you're going to get done, you'll have the fixed penalty offer by then.

If it's any comfort to you, a number of those cameras don't have film in them. It's not inevitable that you will be prosecuted. But you're right, you can't afford to have points on your licence. I wish you well with the knowledge and do be extra careful in future.

Depends what country you are in! It will also depend exactly how much faster you were going over the limit. Apparently two-thirds of speeding fines are within 0-15Km/hr excess of limit.
If you are doing the 'knowledge' sounds like you are in London. Wish more countries had taxi drivers that knew their way around like London cabbies.

It's going to depend on where you live and laws in your area. In Maryland a driver can be fined for tickets from speeding and redlight carmeras, but no points because there is no way to prove exactly who was driving. But it may be different where you live.

With all due respect.......... There's no help that I can give you - "I need my license for my job" - that quote says it all and should be reason enough for you to start obeying the traffic laws.

Not necessarily, the camera could be a dummy one, Or the film could be full. I hope you are lucky.
