When is a paedophile not a prisoner? So if a paedophile were working for a wage, it must be that he is either 'reformed' or attempting to. Paedophiles must be looked upon as mentally ill, however, there is no cure for their affliction. There are people with a predilection for sex with faeces, blood, dead bodies, animals, opposite sex, same sex and children. Paedophiles are the worst because their victims are innocent, and because they emotionally scar them for life. A fair wage for a paedophile is when a paedophile admits to his crime, admits to a life under scrutiny in an open prison (as there is no cure and he will re-offend), and then works for a wage. A paedophile is a life sentence. Sexual orientation is difficult to change, impossible even. We can't shoot them, but we can contain them. There isn't anything else that will work. I am against the concept of prisons, but not for paedophiles.

You've got to be kidding. Why would you worry about such a thing?
A convicted pedophile should be incarcerated and be subjected to serious counselling. If they are able to work while in prison, then they get paid what all the other inmates get paid for the same labor.
