You should be truthful in your answer. There are the usual answers: I love my country I love my community and want to serve I have always wanted to be in law enforcement. You should search your heart and mind for a good, decent answer- Why DO you want to be a police officer? Do you have any anecdotal stories? How did you come to the profession in the first place? Do you have family members in the force? Did you have an encounter with a police officer that was good? Did a police officer help you in some way when you were younger? Think about your answers- give some thoughtful reflection to how you would answer the interviewers questions. Good luck.

Tell the interviewer that you want to serve the people by proper administration of justice and putting order in the society.
