It happens to me all the time. People send me cards for my birthday for example but I never receive them because somebody at Royal Mail is opening them to see if there is money inside and then obviously throwing the cards away! I keep reporting this happening but it makes no difference. Why aren't there stricter rules and what gives these people the right to take other people's mail anyway?

okay, three situations.

1) a single mum wants benefits but due to a loophole she is not entitled, so she starts a petition to get her benefits.

2) a preacher wants to tell everyone what he thinks.

3) a suicide bomber decides to get his point across.

Do these people have a right to their own opinion?

I heard that OHIP has some sort of agreement with the U.S. and that OHIP can be helpful if a Canadian, in my case, from Ontario were to get injured and need to visit a hospital in the states. Is this true? What would happen if the American hospital were to hear I was from Canada? Would I be charged more?

I ask of you the following:

Put aside your hardened hatred for groups of people unlike yourself, drop your defensive walls you so aggressively defend, and briefly dismiss the background and environment you've grown up in.

Just answer this. If the closest people that matter to you most - your mother, father, brother, sister, friends, relatives - were killed as a result of careless gunfire, how would you react? Picture holding your loved ones dead bodies in your arms and knowing that you will never get to see them, talk to them, and tell them that you love them. How would you react?

Dear friend,
You want to know why Khunying Photdjaman went to see Pa Prem, and what they talked about?
Khunying had a message to be passed on the King of Thailand through Pa Prem. The bargain of Thaksin is:
•As for the hidden shares, he will return ten billions to Thailand and pay penalty. In return, no jail sentence.
•As for other small technical mistakes he will pay compensation to the State, five billion baht.
•As for causing disunity and division among the Thai people, he is very sorry. He was well meant. He will create a Foundation for Peace and Unity in Thailand with five billion baht.
•As for having created heavy concern to the King Himself, he is extremely sorry, promise to wear the yellow shirt all his life, and ask for Royal Pardon. Besides, he will contribute to Royal Projects ten billion baht.
•As for the Thai Rak Thai, he will dissolve it into thin air. He and his former associates will not have any role or activity in politics for five years.
•He loves Thailand and the Thai people. He is home sick. He wants to live in peace, play golf, go shopping from time to time to Paragon and eat khuitiaw in a normal restaurant. He will do normal business, pay takes by the new rules, and visit monks. (Since his wealth has greatly diminished he will not be able to make much merit in thambuns for a few years).
•Briefly: he pays, he gets Royal Pardon, and no jail for him. He promises to be a good boy from now on.
That was the message of Mr. Thaksin to Pa Prem for the King.
Khunying Photdjaman only said she khit thing Thailand very much, was not pleased with Harrods, and did not like English tea. Therefore she hoped to be back soon in Thailand with 100 pieces of luggage and another 100 of small shopping gifts for the new government members, to show their gratitude.
This simple request took only fifteen minutes.
Pa Prem did not say anything, only that he would pass the message to the King.
End of the visit.

Bringing up children is a costly business. People who have children and cannot afford to bring them up are a drain on society. The taxpayer ends up footing the bill. I resent paying (out of taxes) for other peoples greed and irresponsibility. Should people who earn less than, say, 25k, therefore be forced to abort their burden?

My car valued at 5k was stolen two months ago. The car was recovered but torched beyond recognition. The car was totaled. The thieves were never caught and all I had was liability insurance. So i lost my car and 5k down the drain. Then last week I found a car on ebay that I liked(97 toyota camry with 74k miles) I wired the $2500 western Union to the seller. I never received the car and Im out $2500. I have contacted the police, western union, and ebay to get my money back. SO far i get nothing. I have lost a total of $7500 and my savings is depleted. What can i do to get my money back? Western Union doesnt insure the lost money and ebay is wipign their hands clean as well. I am starting to hate the laws in this country. If you steal you DIE. Simple. I am a victim and I have no money left. What can I do to get justice and get money back. I cant afford an attorney with no money.

I live in the city of Reynosa, it’s a town that borders Texas. I work at an LG factory. This Saturday, employees will be able to get perfectly working plasma TVs with dents and scratches. Most people keep them to themselves, or sell them at the flea marker or placing a newspaper here in Reynosa. I figure I could sell it on ebay to Americans, and make more money than I could selling it here in Reynosa.

I just need to know, is there some law or something against this?
