okay, three situations.

1) a single mum wants benefits but due to a loophole she is not entitled, so she starts a petition to get her benefits.

2) a preacher wants to tell everyone what he thinks.

3) a suicide bomber decides to get his point across.

Do these people have a right to their own opinion?

This is an interesting question in light of the laws that punish some people more severely than others because of their opinion, even when committing exactly the same act. I am referring to "Hate Crime" laws that enhance a criminal offense because of the person's opinion/rationale for committing the crime. So, if one person kills another person because he hates that person’s ethnicity or religious views then he will receive a harsher punishment than another guy who kills without hate, simply because he enjoys killing. The point is, you may be entitled to your own opinion, but you will be punished for your thoughts and NOT just the act.

some human beings might desire to easily stay quiet. evaluations are entitled while the guy knows what they're speaking approximately or has a history on the problem to hand. i won't be able to stand people who've an opinion on each and every thing yet have no thought what something capacity. lack of information is so stressful. yet thats only my opinion :)

Yes, Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, it's a right. Well, as long as that opinion doesn't bring any potential danger to anyone.

Everyone has the right to thir own opinion. Some ACTIONS are criminal.
If you do not share an opinion, you also have the right to protest against it.

Everyone has a right to their own opinion. No one has the right to shove their opinion down my throat. If they want to try it, then they must find out what the consiquence will be.

everyone has a right to an opinion and he and she are entitled to express it as freely as they wish, verbally that is. but when it involves violence and/or putting other people's lives in danger, or it intends to hurt others, then no that is not right whatsoever

You have a right to your own opinion and not everyone has got to like it..but you still have the right to have it.....

What you do not have the right to do is inflict it on everyone else
I.e....bombing people up

Thumbs up good question!!!

its quite a conundrum..
when it is you, you feel strongly that everyone has a right and you should be able to express yours freely
but when it is someone else and that opinion is something you dont wana hear, then you feel like restricting that person..

so yeah its a yes and no kinda thing for me?
