Yeah someone threw a brick through my friend's window. Luckily, no one was hurt. If they find out who did it what can they be charged with? Is it a misdemeanor or a felony?

From a friend-
My husband is threatening to reduce my spousal support and discontinue my health insurance. He says he can't afford it now even though he has not lost his job or anything like that. I can't afford to fight him again on anything because my lawyer is too expensive. I countered to cancel the health insurance but keep the support the same so I can make my bills. I have been a stay at home mom my whole life and he cheated and left and now I can't all of the sudden afford all of these things. Can he do this and what are my options?

I work at a restaurant where one of the managers literally "picks on" me. He calls me out in front of everyone to tell me I'm doing poorly, 2 nights ago he told me he was sick of me and that he didn't like me (he said this in front of 7 other people including another manager). There are other incidents as well. I'm only 20 so I don't know if this actually qualifies as harassment... He doesn't act like this towards anyone else. What should I do? I've begun making a log of incidents...

So why do so many still think lone terrorists breached US security?? Mind you, people in prop planes have been intercepted by US jets in a matter of seconds in certain areas of the country....yet we can't oversee three that didn't answer their calls for thirty minutes before running into buildings? WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!

My ex, who is crazy and always making false threats, threatened to kill himself today if I didn't let him see his daughter. He stalks me online and finds my myspace page and email addresses every time I change them and continues harrassing me. I have a protection order against him, but the cops won't do anything because he isn't putting my family in "immediate danger" by harrassing me online. They just tell me to block him, but then he creates a new account and starts again. The reason he cannot be in contact with our child is because he is diagnosed insane and has severe drug and alcohol problems and has harmed her in the past. I got a two-page message this morning from him about how I have ruined him and he is going to hang himself at 10 o clock tonight if I don't call him and give my daughter the phone. I think he's bullshitting me to try to scare me into doing it. He's done this before. Should I turn it over to the cops or just ignore it all together? I refuse to call him.

Recently my uncle was ran off the road by an oncoming vehicle in his lane. He swerved into a side ditch in order to miss it. There were no marks of the other vehicle (it didn't stop) anywhere. The police said they had to give my uncle a breathalizer just for the records. When they did, he blew a 13. My uncle wasn't drunk and I know it. The officer even told him that he knew he wasn't drunk. He had to take him downtown, though to take another test. He blew a 14 and 15. He's been on prescription meds, but no alcohol. Not even cough syrup. So... He has a court date (his license was revoked), and needs me to write a letter to the court stating my name, his name, how I know him, and that I've never seen him drunk. I don't know how to structure this letter. Any ideas?

I just got a letter from unemployment for a telephone hearing to reconsider denial of my first determation. I filed my appeal late, one of the subjects in the hearing will be timeliness. I did file late, past the 20 day deadline.
(9 days) I was caring for my mom and time got away from me was my reason.
I knew I was late but filed anyways,I thought they would of said no and not even hear me, so I was shocked to recieve in the mail, my hearing date. Is this good for me or do they hear all appeals whether on time or late? I have a good case otherwise and believe I will win, I'm just afraid that I will lose because I filed late and know must prove that I had good cause. Which i did, but is it good enough for them?

We are led to believe by the police "Experts" that no two people can have the same dna profile; as "experts" are currently under fire for influencing court decisions by making ludicrous statements, which are seldom if ever questioned, due to their status in society, and which have resulted in people being wrongly imprisoned.could the law be wrong?
My question is: Who,of any standing, other than the law! and of course the inventor, has ever put put the whole dna theory to the test?
I watched a tv programe some time back, and if memory serves me correctly, The inventor of the whole dna theory, stated that we are all related and that the difference in peoples dna was so infinitesimal, as to be almost undetectable, can anyone recall anyone, other than the law, ever doing any investigation into the subject, We all blindly believe in what in effect is a very complex matter, and what we are told on the subject, But are we going to be finding mistakes were made yet again in future years

About 3 years ago Jesse Jackson was on TV here in chicago (fox 32), He and the rainbow push coalition were pouring cans and 40s of bud on the street while declaring that Bud is a racist beer company and blah blah blah. Well a few months later his son Jesse Jackson Jr. purchased the distribution rights for Bud on the North Side of Chicago, might I add at a discounted rate.. Is this not illegal? Does selling the distribution rights for a mostly white rich area to Jackson Jr. make it ok for them to be racist? Since this is bound to cause some anger I must please ask you to look into this yourself, i saw this all on Tv the 9 o'clock news on FOX 32 about 2-3 years ago and I cant find anything about it now.
