Some idiot keep calling me throught the night on my mobile phone. If I answer, I hear a few sounds, but nothing distinguishable. Is there any way to trace the call (legal or illegal),? If not what should I do?

do i legally have to sing a song that i don't want to. i'm willing to lose the participation points becuz it goes against my Christian belief. my chorus teacher wants us to sing a Hanukah song and since this holiday tends to compete with Christmas, i cannot sing it. when i told my teacher she told me that if i am not willing to sing it just lip-sinc it. i told her that would still be against my faith. and she said well your stuck with it. am i legally bound to sing a song that is against my religon?

Of course, we don't need a law to tell us that killing is wrong (by our society's standards).

However, for those of you who agree with the death penalty, is sentencing a murderer to death not a sort of self-contradiction-- killing someone for killing?

For those of you who don't agree with the death penalty, what would be the proper way of punishing murderers, life in prison? Surely, murder is a worse crime than some of the other crimes for which life in prison is given?

I was discussing some differences between Republican conservatism and Democratic liberalism in the US with an Evangelical pastor yesterday (Nov. 12), and I was surprised to hear him express the serious consideration of abandoning the United States as the world Evangelical HQ.
The reason, he siad, was the Democratic party's gaining of power over the country's legislative system, which meant the upper hand for all those who call for the separation of religion from state, and the abolishing of all visible religious forms from public places and schools and the "under God" term from the pledge of allegiance and so and so. He finally put it, "because there's no telling just when the US would come to a sudden breakdown, which is very likely, given all the moral regression plaguing the nation".
So, where do we stand on this one; Republican conservatism, or Democratic liberalism; who's out to save America?

I understand and agree that people should not have a free ride and that there are abuses of the system. But not everyone on welfare is a bum.

Are you in favor or programs that would provide educational assistance towards associate and bachelor-degree programs, low-cost childcare and transportation assistance?

If you hate welfare programs, are you in support of programs that will help parents get to a level of self-sufficiency?

What types of programs should be there for parents who do not have the mental or intellectual ability to continue education, or live in a rural area where there is no public transportation and they do not drive?

What is your opinion? I know it can vary depending on location. Do you feel there will be an increasing demand for ADR? E-Discovery?

Is it Civil Litigation, Personal Injury, Corporate, Bankruptcy, Real Estate, or Family Law?

Which one seems to always be in demand?

We moved to our (first) house about four and a half months ago and have been victim to a burglary (they came through an open window), a couple of petty car crimes and then last week my Fiance caught them trying to hotwire the car. He fully intended to chase them off, but as there was three of them (he could just see one) he got stabbed in the arm before they ran off. I am extremely nervous about being at home and we now want to leave; is this something we legally need to disclose to the Estate Agents as it took place outside the house? I want to get out of here!!

A few weeks ago i was picked up by LP for shoplifting, i was wondering my court date is in about two weeks, i haven't really talked to any lawyers, just one, i cant afford a lawyer, on my court date, i dunno if i should plead guilty or no contest. I am what did was wrong and they caught me with the stuff, but what does pleading "no contest" mean, i heard it is not saying your are guilty or not, but it just says that you except what ever charges are being filed against you, you i plead guilty or no contest. i heard no contest has better benefits, what benefits are those.
