What do you mean by ex-military student?

I you mean you left school (college, military high school, private military school) then no.

If you left the US military as in discharged....99% think /not. Kicked out...no.

Unemployment benefits involve payments of your former civilian employer into the state unemployment fund (by law) and then your being provided those benefits based on a determination of eligibility.

If you held a job and lost it due to no fault of your own, are looking for work, and available for work. It has nothing to do with schooling.
