I have a problem with waiting in lines. I'm too impatient to do so. The other day I went to a warehouse store, I won't mention it's name. I spent 40 minutes filling up the basket with goodies. Then I saw real long lines at all the check out lanes. I panicked, left the basket of goodies and went home empty-handed. Should the Americans With Disabilities Act require such stores to have a special lane for people with my type of disability (where we wouldn't be subjected to the indignity of waiting)?????

Hi, I am a single mom. Never been married to my sons father. Actually I have no communication with him at all. I wanted to know if my sons father is able to claim my son on his income tax? How would I be able to find out if he's been doing so? He recently was ordered by law to pay child support. Does that give him any right to claim my son on his income tax?

thank you
Karen (krano@ameritech.net)

So many people die from obesity. Seat belt laws exist under the premise that they save lives. Why can't make it illegal to be fat for the same reasons?

I'm curious if any rule or custom imposes a time limit. Does the petition "expire" if they never do anything with it?

is the court hearing recorded by the judge?
Is there a law that every court hearing should be recorded for future use if something wasn't correct or truthful during a court proceeding?

My ex hasn't seen the kids in over 2 years. He is self-employed and doesn't pay a dime. He is scheduled to pay under $300 for both kids. If I reopen my case with the DA and modify the amount how can I get more? I have a husband who pays for everything and I am a stay at home mom, but the "birth father" should be the one to support his kids.

Is it legal in Utah? Watching stuff on Warren Jeffs and wondering if that's even legal and how these people in Utah do this? (it's sicking to know 11, 12, 13 year old girls are being abused like this.)

I searched Yahoo and Google but didn't see anything. Maybe not entering right info.

Can we now start attacking any country in the world and use the excuse, "defending" if its thought and generally believed that a neighbouring country, one day, might attack us? Can America invade Mexico to protect its boarder now that Isreal has shown its OK?

Here is the situation. Let's say Mark and Sue were married, but they just wern't in love so they got a divorce. Each person got to keep their respective car in the divorce settlement. Sue's car has Mark as the primary owner, and she is ordered to have his name taken off of the title "within a reasonable amount of time." The car is worth about $7000 and has about $7000 left to pay off. If re-financing is not an option, how would Sue get Mark's name off of the car? The dealership says they can't do anything without re-financing.

You should support equal rights for everyone, because whenever anyone doesn't have equal rights, everyone's rights are in danger.

Like that old quote.. when they came for the gays, the retarded, etc., I did not speak out, and when they came for me, there was no one left to speak out...

Justify your disagreement.

i went through an accident at age 15. because i was underage my mother was placed on the case being my rep. at age 18, my mother lost power of attourney to my case, because i was then of legal consent. when my lawer did the pay out, when i was 18, he maild the check to me in my name, but because of confusion with address, he then canceled the payment, and with my mother and as greety as she was harrased my lawyer into depositing the sum of money into her savings account by phone without my consent, or signing power of attourney. she then spent all the money without my consent as well. my question is... can he do that legaly? by law can i get my money back? do i sue him? or should he already know that he was wrong and just take care of it? how do i approach him.i want to keep the upper hand in this matter.

how can the present state of affairs, vis-avis your country's relationships with most of nations on earth, be okay with you guys.what happened to the ideals behind the Declaration of Independence, to civil liberties; to everything you folks fought to achieve when you seceded from Britain;; do you realise that most of the world sees your country as the modern Rome, the inheritors to British hegemony. I wish we outside your country heard more from you folks. I gotta tell you, on paper you seem to be the best the planet could hope for but it sure gets lost in translation
