Will the people someday be brainwashed enough to make it against the law to be fat?

So many people die from obesity. Seat belt laws exist under the premise that they save lives. Why can't make it illegal to be fat for the same reasons?

They are already brainwashed enough to ban smoking.
Once you allow them to start down that path, the supposed 'do gooders' won't stop. They want you to do it THEIR way, no matter what.
It's really all about control, they just hide behind all the argumants about health/welfare/supposed benefit to society.
Anytime I hear someone say "We have to do it...for the children'...it just means more personal liberties/civil rights gone.
How long before the food police show up because you gave your kid one too many twinkies, or one to many Colas?
Or will they come take your kids because not feeding them right is child abuse?
Unless everyone wakes up and starts standing up against this kind of Big Brother mentality, George Orwell's 1984 will look like a picnic.

Nope. How is such a law going to be enforced?
There is too much profit in obesity for fast food companies, doctors and fitness centers.
The only thing that will stop obesity is a person's desire and effort not to be obese.

LOLOLOLOLOL. Some people are obese because of genetics. Now how is that going to work. OMG, Yes, being tiny is wonderful, but even thin people die from hypertension, diabetes, and things you'd normally equate with "fat" people. I'm NOT saying it's healthy, but sometimes you just can't change genetics. ~

No, If thats what they want then they should be obese, it's their body and we don't need to worry about it
