I hear that a lot on Yahoo Answers. As an ex-Rupublican, that ranks as I sure it would rank regardless of what party you are in. My question to the current republicans is how can you say this when it is not just the common citizen who criticize Bush but ex-generals and ex-cabinet members of our government who by custom especially the Generals do not criticize the government, at least not publicly. How do you answer why Generals would break their code of silence to question the actions of this administration, why ex-cabinet members of both parties have raise question and why some Republicans themselves will vote Democrat in November. Are we are wrong, are we all clueless or might we finallly have wise up to and perform our duties as good citizens to fight against an unjustified war. So, current Republicans who still support Bush, do you think all these Repiblican's who will vote Democrat, these ex-members of government and all those ex-Generals are wrong?

I was wondering what I can do legally now that I am 18.

I already know these things:

Vote
Smoke
Buy Arms
Pornography
Legally Have Sex
Buy A House
Buy A Car
Join the Military

But my question is, what are the things that most poeple don't know what they can do at 18 legally. If anyone can give me a good list or a website to read this, it would be helpful. I have already googled it so yeah, thx in advance.

There are too many to choose from, and all of them claim that they were declared 'the best' by some third party. Which one really is the best? I learn more toward one with a CD-ROM in it with practice tests, because I like hands-on practice. Which book worked for you when you took the LSAT?

One time I went to work, and the manager told me to go home cause he said that I stunk, I told him that im Pagen and we don't believe in showers. He told me that if I didn't thak a shower that he would have to fire me. Well I got fired. Was it right for him to fire me, or did he violate freedom of religion?

They gave name, address and account info to a detective who had no court order.. He just called them and they faxed him my account info and it's in the police report.

The detective and 2 cops came to my house today with it and a posting off of my blog where I had listed someones home address which he thought was a crime. It was a major embarassment, but after like an hour when I explained to him the address is a matter of public record that anyone can get off of the countys own internet system and that it was a free speech issue he was satisfied and left.

I looked up Roadrunners privacy policy and it says they will only give out users account information if there is a court order to do so- and in this case there was none... What can I do about it?

I gave a friend money to invest in stock. I didn't have a written contract nor did I have him sign anything. The stock plunged to nothing and I lost my money. He says there is nothing he can do about the market. He wasn't working for a investment company he was just a friend. I didn't even have him put the stock in my name. Is there anything I can do? I told him I would sue him for the money I gave him but I only have a copy of the check I wrote out to him personally. I was told that once I gave him the money and with no contract he could of done what he wanted with it and that he wouldn't be obligated to pay me back either way. Due to the fact it was a verbal agreement and I left it all in his hands.

And I am not simply looking for the cookie-cutter answer that "it is a gateway drug." Give me a break. That's a generalization, and not backed up by a logical argument whatsoever. I have a friend who smokes daily, graduated with a 4.0 from one of the top colleges in the country, and has never had the desire, let alone the need, to experiment with more hardcore drugs. So why is this drug illegal? How is it any more dangerous to society than alcohol?

I’m thinking about finding a lawyer, (attorney) that will help me with basic questions such as student loans, car buying contracts, etc… What type of fees do you think is reasonable? Is this what people mean when they say: to retain a lawyer? Also, if I find a lawyer that will help me with such, meaning I can call him or her at anytime reasonable and ask for him or her to look over a contract, will I have to pay a monthly fee or is it based on the work, or is it monthly fee plus hours work? Please help.
