It is interesting how the currently illegal drug is what most people would prefer for our society to consume. If people are wondering why it is illegal---think $$$--the alcohol lobby and the pharmaceutical lobby in Washington...aren't you glad the government has our best interests in mind--not. TO MAKE CHANGES--VOTE!! When they see a voting bloc outside the elderly vote, they may start listening to us!
And for people saying that potheads are irresponsible, I maintain a 3.9 GPA at my college in a very tough field and am a member of the Honor Society, and I work...so that theory is out the window.
Alcoholics tear apart families---potheads eat....which is worse?

Alcoholic.
I'm surprised that alcohol is still allowed while marijuana isn't. Alcohol has much more negative effects than marijuana, the greatest of which is that it is impossible to overdose on marijuana, while people die every weekend of alcohol poisoning. There's no logic behind why one is outlawed and the other isn't.

I agree with the very open minded people who said neither is bad or worse b/c we shouldn't be judging... but in my opinion, the alcohol itself is the worst thing you can do !! It toally f's peple up !! The pot is a natural growing plant on this Earth. God put it here for us to enjoy !! Its in the Bible (can't remember where, but I know I've read that God put all seed-bearing plants on the Earth for us to use and enjoy and we all know that pot is definitely seed-bearing - LOL)

Either way, they are slaves. "Worse" would be relative.
Alcoholics would probably act out the most. Tokers are probably more apt to be massively irresponsible.

That's like trying to decide between bad & worse. If you need something to "get you through the day", then you should stay in bed- and try again tomorrow.

Alcohol does more damage to the body (disease), and more damage to others, as through DUI.
