Certainly he has the right to fight for custody, but from what you have stated he has little chance to win. Get yourself a top attorney to ensue that you win.

He double hocky sticks no he shouldnt have any rights in my opinion take the slimbag scum to court and get his paternal rights severed see a lawyer. If hes a sex offender and you have kids with him how do you no he wont molist your kids. talk to a lawer now. if you cant afford one go to legal aid, srs anything their are groups out their to help people like you.He probably wants custody so he wont have to pay child suport. You need to do whatever you can to keep your precious children away from him. file a restraining order, Just promise me you will do whatever you can to protect your kids.

He probably isn't even allowed near children yet. If he is, you would have to be the worst mother in the world for him to win custody. It is not going to happen, don't worry about it.

I guess it would depend on the type of charges he had. Did he molest a child or did he date a 17 year old who lied about her age? Depending on the severity of his offense, the judge would probably deny his request. If I were you, I would ask if all visits and contact be supervised by someone YOU trust. Best of luck to you and keep those kids safe!

He needs help first and foremost. Access should only be granted under supervision. Don't worry custody will remain with you.

He has the right to fight for custody.
However, you or your lawyer would really have to f*ck up if he actually gets it.

Never! Dont let him near your children ,he will ruin them! There is no cure, they have NO RIGHTS when it comes to children ,children who cannot defend themselves! How dare He!!! Stand up for yourself and dont you ever give up! Get help from a pastor or other church figure, a person of substance. Blessings.

He may have the right to do so but the courts, in defending the rights of the child, should always avail themselves of the right to deny all access.

Make sure you get a lawyer and have his police records with you for court. Any judge that gives him custody is stupid, but it has happen.
