There are too many to choose from, and all of them claim that they were declared 'the best' by some third party. Which one really is the best? I learn more toward one with a CD-ROM in it with practice tests, because I like hands-on practice. Which book worked for you when you took the LSAT?

I would advise you skip the books and take practice tests. Take as many as you can. Get old ones and take them. Those at the end of the day will prepare you the most. Good luck.

Practice tests are the most useful for everything but the logic puzzles. I used Kaplans and Barrons books, and did fairly well, but I also did over a dozen practice tests.

For the logic puzzle games, it all depends on how you think and process information. But a good overview of basic logical tricks and techniques might come in handy.

Good luck.
