Does anybody agree that drinking and driving has gotten way out of hand, and repeat offenders are off the chart? So knowing this, and the 3 strike rule, does anybody agree that they should be charged with felony count of Attempted Murder, or manslaughter in the least? I believe that if we let people get away with things they will continue to do so? So we need to make the penalties more severe to deter future drunk drivers.

I was stopped by the police a couple of mth's ago and it transpired that my always up to date insurance had run out(usual reminder letter never turned up).The police as they do are pursuing the matter and the paperwork has turned up including a court date for if i wish to attend. On reading the policemans statement he clearly states that he stopped me on a certain street, when in actual fact he stopped me in a totally different street and this can be proven by the in car camera on the police car and also witnesses that where in the car i was driving.Would i be right in thinking that i could stand a chance of getting this charge of the no insurance dropped on the grounds i am being charged for an offence in a street i simply wasnt in.I know its a technicality but its fact. If they had got there facts right,i would have to hold my hands up and except whatever the court decided. But why should i if they cant even get the facts of the charge right.

Last week, I was walking on a parking lot, and this senior just abrruptly wnet on reverse and almost ran me over; I had to jump on the trunk of the car for me not to get run over. My uncle is 70, he got into 5 accidents on the same year, my aunt couldn't get him to stop driving, and now he got into a major accident and is hospitalized. I have a friend who almost got into West Point, he was super fit, but one day he was driving and hit a red light, with plently of time he stopped, but the senior citizen behind him didn't, crash him, my friend hurt his back, he can't do run or do the things he did without his back hurting, and he couldn't get into West Point.

These people are dangerous, why are they being allowed to drive?

He was a hope in my heart that although we have no free choice to be born that at least we might have a decent free choice to die.
Did he violate some kind of Taboo did he somehow pose a threat to Authority was he a physician that somehow violated his Oath to do no harm ? I would like to see him set free to open up centers of Euthenasia throughout our country sort of like you see in the movie Soylent Green. But the single best method is to use the existing field of Anesthesiology to do what he was trying to do. I do not even know if Kevorkian is still alive he was quite old when they put him away. Can anyone carry on where he was forced to leave off ?? Be Verbose so that I/we can clearly see your ideas.

-ter was on free Viagra when he raped and killed a child. What in the world are we doing supplying anyone with free Viagra? Isn't there more serious medical needs for taxpayers to be paying instead of supplying child molesters with their Viagra?

Judge can't change custody
If dad gets 30 days in jail, won't the kid go back to mom til dad gets out? She has custody of the second child.
Some knowledge of TN law would be helpful.
Rude, irrelevant, stupid answers will be reported.

Should the court system take into account that you have reliable transportation and it might cost you more money to buy more reliable transportation when you have your car fixed than the actual value of your car in some book?

We spend billions of dollars arresting people for using Marijauna, then we spend billions putting them in prison. Shouldn't we concentrate on the hard drugs like meth, coke, herion, pills etc?
And concentrate on the dealers. Think about how much resource we would have if we quit wasting time and money on a drug that is less harmful and kills less people by astonimcal numbers than cigerettes and liquor. We could use this resource to fight an effective war on drugs. The one now is not working.
Thousands of people die each month on our highways due to DWI from drinking. And we let the tobacco companies keep selling cigerettes to our children. That is their only place where they can effectivley market cigerettes, to our children. How many adults start smokin over the age of 30? I rest my case. Do you agree?

In the past I asked this company several times to be placed on their do not call list and they continued to call. According to Federal Law, I can claim US $500.00 per violation to be paid to me. If they do not comply, I need to take them to court. Do I file in my state or theirs?

The mayor is trying to press charges against business that hire illegals and trying to press charges against people who rent to them. Isn't he just upholding the law? If his town were overrun with drug dealers nobody would say a word about him inforcing the law but since it's illegal aliens then the public is outraged. They are here illegaly and he has the right to uphold the law?
