Event data recorders can tell police if you were speeding before a crash. Is that a good thing?

Everyone's familiar with the idea of "black boxes" in commercial airliners. They keep a record of everything the aircraft does so that, in the event of an accident, investigators can reconstruct what happened in the minutes leading up to the crash.

Because lots of people in the world, including George Bush, Jesus freaks, Mohammed freaks, Moses freaks, and Shiva freaks seem to feel that you would.

But I wouldn't. Hit me, and I will hit you back. Anyone would. So if this is true why on earth would we ever use violence, war, destruction to solve problems? If we are to get out of a cycle of revenge and retaliation, we must negotiate, not be violent. If I listen to you would you listen to me. Isn't TRUE courage not hitting back, but being willing to take it even while resisting in other ways?

If someone takes a picture of my home, do they own it or me? I do not understand how someone can take a picture with my house and without my permission and then use it in a magazine without asking me! Is this truly legal?

well while I was on the job seekers allowance, Theys was a lady while I went to sign on , and she would give me such a horrible stare , and star for long at me really horribly , because they was something, I didnt do with the job seekers agreement but I didnt know about, and she would star at me really horriblely how do complain about her

cause now I have to sign on again and I really dont want to see her, I cant believe she still works there, how do I make a complain she just really nasty woman, there was absolutely no reason for her to behave like that

been claiming housing benefit and not passing on the amount to G. At present a solicitor is issuing notice to quit. Is it fraud to get housing benefit and not pass it on? We are concerned she will leave also and we will not know how to trace her to get the back rent.. help! Nightmare tenant.

Okay, so I'm looking for the law refering to no smoking in resturants and near enterances.
Here's the deal. My crew is getting blasted by cig. & weed smoke at the delivery window of our resturant. We suffer coughs, burning eyes and lungs, some have asthma. Three are pregnant and worried about their babies.
We have asked the owner for a no smoking sign at the window.
Thus far he has ignored us.
We want a petition as the next step, but want to quote a few laws as back up.
And if that fails, I suppose we'll take it to the next step.

So, any help &/or suggestions mucho appretiated.

OK folks that means that the Twin Towers were imploded! HOLD IT. I'm neither rep. or dem. I am just trying to find out the truth behind what brought down the Twin Towers on 911, aren't you? I mean Americans don't you want to know the truth so we can move on with our lives, were not going to be whole again until we do, don't you agree? I sure hope so.Ok Thermite was used to implode the WTC, so who planted those charges,it must have taken some time to wire up them both. Who would know if some one or whom had access to the Towers? Well Security would know , Marvin Bush was head of Security for WTC1&2 when did their contract expire?Their agreement expired on September 11, 2001. what else do you know for sure, the building 's power grids and computer systems had been shut down several times in the weeks before 911. Anyone working in the buildings can verify this, OK? Also anyone working in the WTC Towers can tell you who Security was at the time. Marvin Bush is the Presidents brother. OK!

I'm not saying I'm raciest, and I know Black people were treated very badly, and still are today. But is it right that they can have, all black clubs, all black schools, all black t.v., all black scholarships, all black sports, all black magazines, ect. ect. ect. If any other race (mostly white people) tried to have anything like that it would get shut down by the gov. and might cause a riot. I have seen black people tell white people that they are being raciest, just because they are in trouble. I have a brother-in-law that told a teacher she was being raciest (because he got caught doning something he shouldn't have been, and I have had friends get into trouble w/ the law and blame it on racisim. I know it's still a problem today, but do you think some people try to use it as a crutch? I don't have slaves, or did my fam. The black people I know weren't slaves, nor thier fam. So stop blaming everyone!

I can't find out where statutes regarding martial arts are spoken of . All I can find is CCW and that basically covers hand guns. I'm concerned as to whether or not my locality requires permits for martial arts weapons. Any idea where to look? BTW The state is Ohio, specifically Morrow County.

I don't know what the process is at this point. I am waiting on my adjuster to deem my car a total loss, which I'm sure it will. I've heard that her insurance company will call and offer me a settlement to avoid me suing her for pain and suffering. How much can I get?

I have this Azzhole next door! Hes rude and out of line! He even calls police on my own car in my own driveway! The cops where ticked too!

i don't see myself being a racist on this issue, but i know specially in middle east countries that even if your not a muslim you are required, specially for women, to wear their traditional muslim clothes. like in france, i learned from the news that this is an issue; they are requested not to wear their cover head but they're not following it. they are making too much issue on it and i think they don't realize that france is not a muslim country which requires their traditional clothes.in some part of middle east country, non muslim immigrants or workers or whatever are required to wear these muslim traditional clothes without making an issue. i hope muslims also realize this subject on clothing when they are on a non-muslim country.

My Ex-Husband sold this land before he died,but never paid Child Support,this land is now owned by someone else .Is their away I can take this to court for contempt although my Ex-Husband is deceased???before he died he sold this land,but never paid any child support??his only assets was the LAND,their was only a lien on his home and that got burned down~~.Is it possible to get myself and my children(s) land back since he owed a great amount of childsupport at the time of the sale of the LAND???? When my AC stopped working, I found out the belt for A/C gone missing, so I went to this car repair shop and have them changed the belt for Steering wheel( because I can see wear on it) and added a new AC belt. One day later, when I was drving down the road, when I making a left turn, suddently the steering wheel became very heavy. and my car hit the side of the road and was heavyly damaged. After that I found out that belt felt off.

So am I able to sue them because of this?

never been in any trouble. problem is my license was expired so i got another ticket for that. i can have all that fixed and my bac was only0.147-- i only had 3 drinks, i supposedly was pulled over for "improper lane usage" its bogus, i was at a well known bar infamous for being pulled over for bull crap. guess hearsay turns out true sometimes. anyway, what in the world do i do now? see an attourney? try to fix this myself? i have no idea.

Why when a 14 or 15 year-old commits a crime, the people shout that they should be tried as adults and handed adult sentences. They release their full wrath on this "child" without mercy. But if an adult has sex with a 15 year-old, it's "Oh this poor child." and the child is so young and innocent, without sin, etc. This is even if the child participated freely and without coersion. Why the double standard?

I'm an advocate of free speech, but you can't yell "Fire! Fire!" in a theater right? I mean you can say some stuff that can really mess up people's lives. You can't yell "Bomb!" in an Airplane. So I'm kind of puzzled that there are not laws in the books for the kind of mess that John Carr caused, and he's probably going to write books about this whole mess and make money. It seems like he should be in jail for at least 6 months for some kind of endangerment of public safety or something. Those Boulder Cops have got to win some award for thier poor investigative work.
