i don't see myself being a racist on this issue, but i know specially in middle east countries that even if your not a muslim you are required, specially for women, to wear their traditional muslim clothes. like in france, i learned from the news that this is an issue; they are requested not to wear their cover head but they're not following it. they are making too much issue on it and i think they don't realize that france is not a muslim country which requires their traditional clothes.in some part of middle east country, non muslim immigrants or workers or whatever are required to wear these muslim traditional clothes without making an issue. i hope muslims also realize this subject on clothing when they are on a non-muslim country.

Can you possible see things from the other side? You know in the United States that religious freedom is protected under the constitution. That's a good thing.F**k France they're xenophobes. You can't possible use them as the rule.
You have so many freedoms, that you take them for granted. But you don't want other people to have the same freedom.
I guess you don't mind the Jewish dudes wearing their Yakima's. Leave the Muslims alone. If they wanna wear their Muslim stuff let them. Whats it to you?

Their choice in clothing may be driven by belief rather than law. In this case they will still feel the need to dress a given way even when in a foreign country.

While I would certainly not deny them the right to dress in any way that is not a violation of the law, I do think it acceptable to profile on this basis.

I agree with you on that. I respect that Muslim requires from non Muslim to wear traditional Muslim clothes in their country. I respect they have their own rules which you have to obey if you visit a Muslim country. It is like you come to your non smoker neighbors and you accept their wish not to smoke in their house. And you do that, even if you would like to have one cigarette.

But I don't like when a Muslim doesn't respect our wish that people should not show their religion. We have a country which is separate to religion.

It's just immigrant syndrome. When immigrants arrive in a new culture they tend to exaggerate their own characteristics.Italians who were lukewarm on soccer when they were in Italy invariably go soccer-crazy when they go abroad. Australians abroad insist that Vegemite is delicious, even when they didn't eat the stuff at home. Anyone who is even the least bit Irish gets drunk on St. Paddy's Day. Hence Muslims abroad tend to go all super-Muslim.

Because they are intolerant of anything that will create an instability. They want people to be submissive. Order is much more important than freedom in a muslim society.
