I think he is crazy and he wanted to be in the spotlight.
It happens all the time where a nut job claims they committed a high profile crime in order to gain notoriety.

I guess he did it for the e book deals and particular hundreds of thousands he will make with interviews and stuff. Watch he would be on television interior the destiny and have a e book approximately why... Hes in it for the money, plus hes a pedifile, thats popular. i think of he's a sprint weird and wonderful too. Im particular that flight wasnt too super, he had no freedom to take excitement in employer type. I guess he didnt get loose booze

Of course not. It's an incredibly dangerous way of getting a free trip! Not only for the fact that you could be thrown in jail for the rest of your life (even get the death penalty), but you could be beaten to death by civilians for being suspected of commit such a crime.
Nah, that can't be it.

I feel that he did this to get busted for child porn from 2001 in California. He didn't go to Bangkok until 2003 and the jails there are worse, so he wanted to stay in a better jail.

Too many morons of all ages do stupid **** for attention and in my opinion should receive heavy consequences beyond reimbursing costs. Recognition is EARNED by WORKING to excel in academics, business, sports, whatever it is, not by lying and acting like a ninny.

i personally think he has a mental prob. b/c he kept saying that he was with her when she died. and DNA proved that he was no where around. Im not sure but i think he was obsessed with the poor child and they need to send him to a pyschiatric hospital for evaluation. as far as a free trip home maybe but i think he really thought he was there with her.

He still needs to be arrested for giving false testimony to police and impeding an investigation. Not to mention he is a pedophile...ICK...

I don't think so. I believe that, from a psychological standpoint, he wanted to have been the one to kill her. He wanted to have a certain connection with her that he was not able to have while she was alive, and someone else beat him to the murdering bit.
