The judge issued a warrant because i did not show up in court for a show cause hearing, I represented myself as the owner of my property in landlord tenant court. It escalated because I would not agree to let the tenants move out, they wanted to pay me what they owed me and breach the contract! In the middle of winter, they transfered over here from France thru a major corp. They misrepresented the entire contract, attempted to breach from the first month in the home, keep trying to get the rent reduced! It was blatant what they were attempting to do. They're attorney conspired to breach the contract, by telling them to breach the contract and change the locks, (I have an e-mail the attorney sent to me stating this). I sought a sanction against the attorney for his various misconduct he had committed in addition to the exhibit of the e-mail. The Judge denied my sanction. She turned around and sanctioned me from the bent, (practicing law from the bench?). I never paid the $500 sanction

We expect people to work, and yet when gas is $3.00 a gallon, how can a person who makes less than $6.00 per hour even afford to work for such inexcusable pay rates.

This country, our legislators, and executive branch should be ashamed of themselves! Let them work for mininum wage and see how they like it!

He sold his insurance business purchased during our marriage and did not disclose a great deal of money (assets) to the court. He claimed the business purchased during our marriage was not mine. In Florida it is 50/50. It took me two years to divorce him and I am in enormous debt due to becoming ill while being married to him and being unable to work. And my settlement is extremely small. Thank you.

My father is an alchoholic and has recently fallen off the wagon. I know he has been driving around drunk and want to inform the police before he kills an innocent person. (nothing I can do from here as he lives 300 miles away and won't listen to my plea not to drink and drive as he is in denial that he is drinking again). Would the police take notice if I ring them up to tell them about a crime that isn't actually being committed at this very moment?

Can my landlord give me 2 weeks notice to move out of my apt.?
I've been living there for 2 years, my rent has always been on time. I paid him August 2006 rent on 8/1 /06. On 8/18/06, he told me that i would have to vacate the apt. by the end of 8/31/06, because he has someone that will by his house and would like both floors empty. Is this legal. I have no lease with him. We have always had a good tenant - landlord relationship but things are changing now. I know I have my security month that I could live out and then move out at the end of September 2006. Isn't it illegal for him to expect me to find a place to live in less than 2 weeks. Is what my landlord doing illegal? If it is what are my best options? I am actively looking for an apartment, but with work and all, I usually end up setting dates for the weekends. Do I legally have a right to ask for more time to find a place. I have stored some furniture in friends and families homes.

One of my customers has been told by one of my competitors that they (the competitors) are suing me for breach of copyright. I have not so far been informed that I am being sued. I have had correspondence from my competitors lawyer alleging breach of copyright but no direct or indirect confirmation that legal proceeding have or are to be intigated. As no proceedings are on going and so therefore no decision can have been made as to whether I have breached a copyright, is the statement that I AM being sued slanderous?

This idea was presented in a LETTER by Thomas Jefferson regarding politics in the pulpit, but was never present in the constitution itself: "The Sixth Circuit's judges tried to put the hinges back on by bluntly reminding the ACLU-affiliated attorneys of what is, and what is not, in the Constitution. "The ACLU makes repeated reference to the 'separation of church and state,'" said Judge Richard Suhrheinrich, who wrote the appeals court decision. "This extra-constitutional construct has grown tiresome. The First Amendment does not demand a wall of separation between church and state."

Over a year ago, I went to my doctor about a chronic cough at night which sounded like I had Croupe. I had already been diagnosed with hypothyroidism and had been on medication for 2 years. He told me my cough was acid reflux and prescribed Prilosec. It didn't work. I saw him again this spring, still complaing of the cough and now wheezing along with a swollen gland. The diagnosis for the swolled gland was a viral infection. The wheezing was allergy induced asthma and the cough still acid reflux. He gave me an inhaler and told me to try a different over the counter antacid. I started retaining fluid and the cough worsened. I still have the swollen gland. I saw the nurse practioner who stated the same thing as the doctor, I'm sure after reading his notes. I finally convinced her on a 2nd visit to do an ultrasound of my thyroid. I have a nodule and now have to have a biopsy. It could be cancer, as I have all the symptoms. Should I get an attorney?
