A friend of mine told me he received a letter where he lives in Denver, Colorado and it was from the child support office. He stated that the mother of his two children had requested a freeze be put on all bank accounts due to non-payment of child support, but he had the children for 1 month. He stated in the letter that it actually stated that the other parent requested the freeze, does this sound right or is he full of it?

When in all actuality we all use "white," "dirty Mexican," and other slanderous words. Is the US just naive about not being racist?

Especially in child predator cases. I don't get why they should have any rights. They weren't concerned with the rights of their victims. They are innocent children.

I lived at an apartment complex last year, and since they never held up on their agreements to repair damaged items in my apartment, I paid over $2K to get out of my lease early, which included March's rent, and that would have been my last month there.

I just applied to get a new apartment with my fiance. We found out that the old complex filed evictions against me in the Courts TWICE in the same month. How is this possible?

I contacted the old complex and they said that since I paid the full amount to get out of my lease AND I received a check back for the amount of my safety deposit, I was NOT evicted. They are currently working with their home office in Michigan to find out what they can do, too.

Is there any help that you can give me to find out how to get this taken care of?

Things do not become illegal, just because they are immoral. Moral decisions are usually made by individuals, rather than by act of government.

In the abortion debate, there are many anti-abortionists who confuse the issue of morality with the law. Abortion, they reason, should be illegal because it is immoral.

By contrast, the "pro-choice" lobby argue that abortion should be a woman's right to choose. However, just because women have the right to choose, it does not necessarily follow that any choice they make will be a good moral choice. Giving people the right to choose means that people can make bad choices!

The strange thing is that I never hear feminists acknowledging that abortion is a moral problem and I never hear anti-abortionists acknowledging that there could be significant problems in outlawing abortion.

I have a contract with Vodafone and they have notified me today that from 1 September 2006, picture & video messaging will no longer be part of my bundle.

I feel this is a significant change to the service I originally signed up to but am still locked into a contract.

I know that English consumer law can be quite favourable for the consumer and wonder if that is the case in this instance.

I am sick of seeing people living under ground. People getting killed. I do not care who or why. I am sick of people getting killed on all sides. I am sick of seeing children in the crossfire. I think everyone is wrong with every wars. I just want peace I just think humans are evil in general. I just want us to learn to live and respect one another. It is okay to be different. I just feel plain bad for anyone who is in the war. I used to think I understood who was wrong and who was not and then I just know everything is wrong and everyone is getting hurt. It is just a big mess in the middle east period. I just want it to stop, but I am intelligent and practical enought to know it is not that easy. It is just horrible.

From news article on Yahoo: "Bush has issued at least 750 signing statements during his presidency, reserving the right to revise, interpret or disregard laws on national security and constitutional grounds.

"That non-veto hamstrings Congress because Congress cannot respond to a signing statement," said ABA president Michael Greco. The practice, he added "is harming the separation of powers."
