Clearly anyone who would do that (pedophilia) or do the things you suggest is sick and needs rehabilitating.

Punishment is barbaric. These people are sick and (like other criminals) simply need to be:
1. Prevented from causing further harm to others
2. Their problems fixed.
Obviously, you wouldn't turn them loose again if there was too high a chance for them to offend again.
Do you think someone in their right mind thinks that these things are okay to do????
The way you put it, we might as well argue that physically ill people should be killed - before they go out and infect (and hurt / kill) others.
I think that deliberately going out to punish others is also a form of sickness and I only try to make people see how this is also vile and unnecessary. I think the world would be a better place if we didn't so quickly seek revenge

Just death. I'd put a bullet in their head for free. Why waste time and energy punishing someone like that, when I know what waits for them once they're dead? They can never be cured, unless they're caught early. Even then it's rare. So death. That's it.

I'd have them go through a long thorough rehabilitation program and just before releasing them back into the population - I'd have them castrated just to be sure they never re-offend.

well one thing is if i was a pedophile id have to say put me in jail but yet if i didnt get caught id seek help or run away and hide forever and juss write a book about the world of pedophelia and then ask myself if i had a kid would i want him or her raped and then realize i need to stop and seek help
